Job Title: Pumper/Gauger (Lease Operator)

Location: Dilley, Texas to Cotulla, Texas

Schedule: 8/6

Summary: This position is responsible for oil and gas well operations, well testing, operating and maintaining field equipment and facilities, surveillance of general field operations, and maintenance of various databases regarding production and operations.

Job Duties:

* Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.
* Types of well include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection and water disposal.
* Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection, and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
* Job is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
* Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
* Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
* Perform mandatory paperwork required by customers and regulatory agencies.
* General housekeeping and field maintenance.

Qualifications:

* Three (3) plus years of Oil & Gas onshore production operations.
* Strong Computer Skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Some college or technical training preferred
* Valid U.S. Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
* The candidate must live within a 50-mile radius of the job site

Specific Responsibilities

The Pumper II, for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache's Onshore Production Operations team at the company's Denver City, TX office reporting to the Production Foreman.

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

* Provide lease surveillance of Apache-operated properties to assure that the wells are producing at maximum rates allowed and related equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently
* Accurately measure and report daily production
* Prepare daily and monthly production reports
* Inspect facilities routinely for operational safety and environmental compliance
* Take fluid levels and well tests at least twice monthly and calculate downhole pump efficiency
* Accurately gauge production tanks on a daily basis
* Report complete production data in TOW
* Troubleshoot and repair day-to-day operational issues
* Keep accurate seal records
* Review amp readings to ensure pump units are in balance
* Maintain and use safety equipment as required. Ensure that all contractors and Apache Corporation personnel follow safety requirements and procedures
* Develop an awareness to look for ways to optimize production
* Track goals and plans for properties using Scout on a monthly basis
* Witness sales of oil and condensate (LACT meter provings, Crude Transfer tickets)
* Correct any unsafe conditions or practices immediately upon recognition
* Ensure all warning signs are in place and in good condition
* Safeguard all company assets; be aware of any security violations and report immediately to supervisor
* Report any environmental incidents or potential incidents immediately
* Review all repair procedures and methods to ensure that safety hazards and environmental impact are minimized
* Read and be familiar with State Environmental Compliance Regulations
* Perform maintenance on lease equipment
* Check all surface equipment daily and all pumps for seal leaks and to ensure they are primed and operating properly
* Provide recommendations for increased profitability of lease
* Stay abreast of new production techniques
* Prepare written reports on ideas and changes wanted; include reasons why and cost, when possible
* Attend and participate in all safety meetings

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 3-5 years of related work experience
* Ability to anticipate and recognize problems, then develop solutions with minimal coaching
* Ensures accuracy of all reports
* Safety minded in performing day-to-day tasks
* Familiarity of all lease equipment and functions
* Adequate knowledge to identify downhole problems
* Job is classified as medium physical work
* Occasionally may be required to lift, carry, push or pull 10-100 pounds.
* Occasionally may require squatting, crawling and climbing
* Frequently may require bending, reaching above shoulders, reaching to the floor, reading, writing, working at heights and working around moving machinery

*Schedule*

Pumpers work two-week shifts, called hitches. During their hitch, pumpers are expected to work 12 hours per day, either the morning or night shift, which begin at either 7 am or 7 pm. Occasional overtime may be required.

Job Summary: Responsible for monitoring, maintenance and reporting on an assigned facility; perform minor mechanical repairs; perform data entry and remote security/monitoring associated with one or more unmanned locations; maintain and promote all Goodnight Midstream policies and ensure regulatory compliance.

*Responsibilities*

· Understand and comply with all Goodnight Midstream Safety Policies and Procedures.

· Display an understanding and capability to perform operational responsibilities associated with removal of equipment from service, LO/TO, de-energization and overall preparation for maintenance

· Report, scan, and enter billing information into mainframe computer system.

· Provide guidance and assistance in unloading trucked water in a friendly and professional manner.

· Monitor pipeline pressures/flow rates and other pipeline related information and report findings regularly.

· Check and maintain equipment regularly.

· Watch and monitor unmanned facilities and report any issues to Operators/Supervisors.

· Provide security on the immediate location you are working, inspect security equipment and make sure it's working properly; and document all visitors via sign-in sheet.

· Gauge tanks and operate a tank battery on a regular basis, including preparation of oil for sales.

· Perform facility inspections on a scheduled basis, perform basic equipment functions in the areas of maintenance and repairs.

· Functional knowledge of all record-keeping and communication systems. (FIIX System, SCADA, Slack, Answernet, Eagle Eye, truck ticketing system, etc.)

· Provide timely information and feedback to management on facility operations.

· Report environmental occurrences to enhance emergency response. Assist as necessary in cleanup and correction.

· Input data on a regular basis into computer systems for record keeping purposes.

· Maintain company safety standards. Report any incidents to management immediately. Recommend improvements in safety or operations when possible.

· Maintain good housekeeping - assuring cleanliness and safety of facilities, common areas, offices and restrooms.

· Serve as a Customer Service Representative, providing cordial service, refreshments and food for customers.

· Assure contractors performing work on site do so in a safe functional manner.

· Perform other related responsibilities as required or assigned.

*Education and Experience: *

This is an entry-level role into the organization, and on-the-job training will be provided. (Typically 6 months of on-the-job experience is needed to obtain full knowledge and proficiency in the above stated duties) High school degree or GED required. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Water disposal and/or oil and gas experience preferred. Candidates should have mechanical aptitude and ability, as well as basic computer skills (MS Office).

Must be organized, dependable and a team player; great customer service and hospitality; attention to detail and a high sense of urgency; Must be flexible, adaptable and have good judgement; strong written and verbal communication skills; must display a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers or vendors.

*Working Environment/Physical Requirements: *

Outdoor work in all weather conditions. Must be able to regularly perform physical tasks such as entering a confined space, operating large valves, climbing stairs and ladders, and walking long distances. Must be able to crawl, crouch and kneel occasionally. Walking/pushing/pulling are also frequently required. Frequent lifting required up to 25 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling are also occasionally required. This position frequently operates computers, observes screens and communicates verbally and in writing with others. Must be willing to work graveyard shifts, early morning shift and have a flexible schedule.
