Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stamping Press Operator to join our team on 3rd shift. The Stamping Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring stamping press machines to produce quality metal parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor stamping press machines in accordance with production requirements.
Load materials into the press and unload finished parts safely and efficiently.
Inspect parts for accuracy and quality, using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Follow all safety procedures, including the use of proper PPE.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues immediately.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating stamping presses or other metal forming machinery preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and measurement tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
