The Construction Materials Procurement Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end construction material procurement on behalf of FLOZ clients. This role acts as the primary coordination point between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure materials are sourced accurately, delivered on time, and aligned with project scope and budget.
This is an in-office role based in the Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Facing Procurement Support
• Work directly with clients to understand project material requirements, specifications, and timelines
• Support clients in selecting appropriate construction materials based on scope, budget, and availability
• Coordinate material purchasing activities throughout the project lifecycle
Supplier Coordination & Management
• Liaise with approved suppliers to request pricing, availability, and lead times
• Coordinate orders, deliveries, substitutions, and changes to meet project schedules
• Help maintain strong relationships with material suppliers and vendors
Order & Logistics Coordination
• Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material status across multiple projects
• Resolve issues related to pricing discrepancies, delays, substitutions, or damaged materials
• Ensure clear communication between clients and suppliers throughout the procurement process
Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement
• Work closely with internal teams to align procurement workflows with FLOZ's platform and tools
• Help standardize material procurement processes to improve efficiency and scalability
• Provide feedback on supplier performance, pricing trends, and client needs
Qualifications

Perform system-wide annual vendor price updates, including bulk uploads of vendor pricing into NetSuite using CSV imports.
Map SKUs to vendor cost data from new price lists using VLOOKUP, identify and resolve missing or unmatched SKUs, and ensure accurate vendor-item relationships.
Monitor and manage vendor cost, discount, and freight changes; collect and validate updated vendor price lists on a recurring and annual basis.
Upload approved vendor pricing and SKU updates into NetSuite, ensuring data integrity.
Maintain and update Vendor Profiles in NetSuite.
Ensure Vendor availability files are uploaded to the shared drive weekly without delay.
Purchase Order maintenance:
Assist Purchasing department in reviewing and reconciling purchase orders against vendor invoices to prevent discrepancies and to ensure accurate billing.
Provide state Purchasing teams with daily their daily reports of next day deliveries.
Provide state Dispatch teams with daily reports on Will-Call Pick-ups.

Experience and Other Requirements
Candidates with plant knowledge and nursery/horticulture are strongly preferred.
Strong proficiency in pivot tables and related Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP) is mandatory.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, inventory management software, etc.
Constant attention to detail and problem-solving skills

The Construction Materials Procurement Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end construction material procurement on behalf of FLOZ clients. Key Responsibilities
Client-Facing Procurement Support
