* Observes weather conditions and generator availability that may impact Company's financial position and subsequent load/generation bidding strategies.
* Acquire and distribute generation schedules and pricing from the NYISO.
* Enter real-time external transactions between the NYISO and PJM.
* Resolve real-time billing issues within E/CTRM.
* Prepare short-term price forecasts for NYISO and PJM Real-Time and Day-Ahead Markets
* Provides database management for internal databases of pricing information.
* Creates queries and programs macros to assimilate data into a central file (Access or Excel).
* Maintains several pricing programs, files, and databases.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
Education & Experience Required:
* This position requires minimally an Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university in in Engineering, Business Administration or Sciences with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required, or a Bachelor's of Science/Arts Degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering, Business Administration or Sciences with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in wholesale commodity acquisition and supply preferred. Similar experience with corporate purchasing and contract management, energy accounting and/or experience with SAP functions related to purchasing, supply management and accounting may be partially substituted for experience with wholesale commodity markets.
* Knowledge/experience in these areas desirable: electric energy and capacity markets, NYISO, NYISO MIS and JESS, PJM, and ISO-NE.
Skills/Abilities:
* Strong ability to work collaboratively and contribute as a member of a team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
* Must be highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and deliverables to successful completion.
* Able to make quick and precise decisions.
* Knowledge of financial analysis and spreadsheets.
* For postings associated with the 24-hour desk position, must be willing to work on a rotating shift cycle.
* Advanced Microsoft Office suite experience including MS Excel and Access.
