About the Role: The Kalmbach Feeds Purchasing team requires a hard working and conscientious person, who has a strong desire to grow and learn. Primary Responsibilities: * Improve and organize our ingredient labels, approved supplier forms and other quality documents * Systematically evaluate and catalogue suppliers to create an approved supplier library Kalmbach can leverage to lower ingredient cost. * Improve department execution by organizing all US and Global suppliers in a comprehensive list and map for better strategic discussions. * Review and improve our ingredient bid processes by adding clarity and structure to the specifications request, price discovery and 10 price charts. * Working with the Purchasing leadership team to improve efficiency and execution across various other projects within the department.
