We are seeking a Sr. Global Sourcing Manager to join our talented Softgoods team. In this role, you will collaborate on and implement an enterprise-wide sourcing strategy. This includes partnering closely with product teams across our portfolio of brands to collaboratively define and refine an optimized finished goods sourcing strategy and seasonal allocation that meets consumer expectations, supports unique needs such as innovation and sustainability but also builds scale and leverage when and where possible. You will also help to establish and grow supplier partnerships and manage and improve performance.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Sourcing - Softgoods and is based out Bozeman, MT.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute global sourcing strategies to improve leverage, service, quality and total cost of ownership across a global spend portfolio while also balancing diversification and risk
Lead sourcing processes across assigned category and collaboratively support seasonal product development process and timelines by managing supplier selection, costing, lead times, MOQs, capacity forecasting and maintenance of sourcing records.
Foster new and existing supplier relationships and performance and negotiate, implement and manage supplier onboarding, contracts, compliance, exclusivity and NDA agreements
Maintain broad knowledge of global market trends for assigned categories and conduct regular benchmarking exercises to evaluate costs and capabilities of incumbent and potential new suppliers globally
Influence continuous process and tool improvement opportunities to help improve efficiencies and profitability within the department
Work in collaboration with Global and HQ teams across R&D, QA/QC, manufacturing, supply chain to qualify new sources of supply
Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant area required
Minimum 8 years of experience in sourcing, development, or planning including Mill partner selection and management
Advanced knowledge of softgoods manufacturing, procurement and supply chain
Strong influencing/negotiation skills and change management experience with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities
Quick learner with interest in understanding and applying global supplier best practices
Ability to work independently to deliver results and influence stakeholders internally and externally
Ability to take accountability for driving results and overcoming challenges
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects across categories, commodities, suppliers and both HQ and Global business functions
Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency

Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

Duties And Responsibilities Lead complex university procurement processes for a wide range of high-cost items and services for departments/units on all four MSU campuses in accordance with state statutes, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures. Work closely with Contract Specialist and Suppliers to negotiate terms and conditions to ensure state requirements are met. Clearly communicate with suppliers and departments during all phases of the procurement lifecycle to maximize collaboration, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop requirements for both contracts and informal and formal solicitations of products and services Develop complex Invitation for Bid ( IFB ) and Request for Proposal ( RFP ) documents, purchase orders and contracts that comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Guide departments to the best result to enhance the competitive process of bidding to arrive at the best value for the organization. Review accounting transactions to ensure compliance with procurement policies and work with departments to make corrections as needed. Manage encumbrances for issued purchase orders/contracts in the accounting system (Banner) and in the Jaggaer system, SmartBuyMSU. Provide four-campus departmental guidance and trainings on procurement processes and policies in person and via Teams, phone and email. Collaborate to maintain and keep current department's procurement instruction website and department forms and reference materials.
