Pure Barre Leadership

Cheri Tennill is a Chief Marketing Officer at Pure Barre and is based in Los Angeles, California. She has worked as marketing budget, marketing mix, advertising at Pick Up Stix Restaurants, TGIFriday's; Marketing Consultant at Tadin Herb & Tea Co.; and Chief Brand Officer at Pure Barre. Cheri works or has worked as Employee at Marketing Consultant; Director of Marketing at Pick Up Stix Restaurants, TGIFriday's; and Director Of Marketing at Self Employed. She attended University of Texas at Austin/The, McCombs School of Business until 1997, and USC Marshall School of Business between 2008 and 2008.

Susan Singleton is a lifelong resident of the Annapolis area and a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. in Sport Marketing. During college, she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, played on the University Women’s Lacrosse team & rowed on the WVU Crew team. Upon graduation, Susan spent several years in the fast paced field of Resort Sales & Marketing before leaving the hospitality industry to marry a Naval Officer from the United States Naval Academy. Over the years, she and her husband took up residences in Charleston, Newport & Jacksonville, before finally returning to the Annapolis area to raise a family.

Fitness has always been a major component in Susan’s life. After attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC for her training, Susan turned her passion for wellness into work as a Holistic Health Counselor. It was during her time in NYC that she was introduced to Pure Barre. Immediately hooked, Susan was at the studio taking classes at every available opportunity. “I have never experienced the completely transformative results from any other form of exercise. The Pure Barre method is a gracefully empowering technique that creates long, lean, sculpted muscles along with improving your posture and increasing flexibility.”

Susan is super excited to be opening the first Pure Barre Studio in Maryland.
