THE PROS PROGRAM ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS IN RECOVERING FROM THE DISABLING EFFECTS OF MENTAL ILLNESS. ADDITIONALLY, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF SMALL PROGRAMS WHICH PROVIDE SCREENING, SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY. EACH PROGRAM IS ROOTED IN THE PRINCIPLES OF PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION- THE BELIEF THAT ALL INDIVIDUALS HAVE THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE THEIR OWN TREATMENT BASED ON THEIR INTERESTS, STRENGTHS AND INDIVIDUAL GOALS. EACH PROGRAM OFFERS REHABILITATION OPTIONS AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES THAT HELP PARTICIPANTS REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL AND LEAD SATISFYING, PRODUCTIVE AND INDEPENDENT LIVES.
