Performs all front desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in/out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, etc. Responsible for auditing the previous day's receipts to verify and balance entries, runs reports and verifies accuracy of information. Role Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk NightAuditor, you have the responsible to give our guests the best hospitality experience they can have by:
Processing credit card transactions and other (restaurant, events, lounge) for the day
Handling phone system, transferring calls, reservations, etc
Verify, balance and review hotel room availability.
Perform Check-in and Check-out procedures.
Administer guest payment policies and look for errors from the day shifts
Prepare folios for the morning departing guests

Summary: The NightAuditor is responsible for checking guests into the hotel while reconciling the previous day's business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Processes guest check-in and check-out in a hospitable and friendly manner
Provides good customer service
Enforces and executes all cash handling, check, and credit policies in order to accurately balance transactions, charges and payments, and guest billing

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greets guests as they arrive, focus on personal recognition
* Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
* Escort VIPs to room and check them in prior to arrival
* Answer the telephone within three rings with a smile and answer questions accordingly or transfer as needed
* Responsible for issued bank. Count bank at beginning and end of shift. Ensure that all cash drops are done in accordance to with proper cash handling procedures and report all cash over/ shorts to management.
* Keep front desk area clean and organized.
* Assisting with lobby activation as needed.
* Utilize proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
* Follow checklist when going through check in or check out with guest. Always retrieve necessary identification documents and form of payment upon arrival.
* Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries
* Perform various other duties as assigned
* Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of one (1) year in Front Desk Operations
* In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations
* Minimum of High School education
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
* Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
* Excellent time management skills

JOB OVERVIEW - NIGHTAUDITOR:
Use your attention to detail and desire for routine to create memorable guest experiences! As a NightAuditor, you will work overnight (graveyard) hours to supervise the hotel and perform tasks to certify that all daily transactions are reconciled. Your contributions as a NightAuditor are essential to provide our guests a comfortable stay.
A TYPICAL SHIFT:
Review daily transactions and checklists for completion and accuracy.
Ensure all guests are served promptly and courteously.
Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts.
Ensure emergency notification procedures are followed in the event of issues taking place overnight.
Communicate effectively between all shifts and departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous customer service experience with proven ability to thrive working the overnight shift is ideal. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
