We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pyrotechnician to design, set up, and execute breathtaking pyrotechnic displays and special effects for a variety of events. This role requires a deep understanding of safety, a creative approach to design, and the ability to manage all aspects of a show from planning to cleanup.
An experienced pyrotechnician should be able to handle responsibilities like designing, setting up, and executing displays, managing materials and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key qualifications include prior pyrotechnics experience, relevant certifications or licenses, a strong understanding of safety protocols and chemistry, and excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills. Safety & Compliance:

Equipment & Material Management:
Safely handle, store, and transport pyrotechnic materials and equipment, including pre-show testing and troubleshooting.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of pyrotechnicians during event setup and execution, providing clear direction and support.
Technical Expertise:
Manage the control systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain a thorough knowledge of various pyrotechnic devices and their properties.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of materials used, show operations, and safety inspections.

Job Description
DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hi-Rail Technician with a great attitude, strong ethics and morals, and a vast mechanical aptitude with a keen sense of safety. This job is responsible for spraying herbicide to various railroads, as well as maintaining truck and equipment needs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Oversee all jobs/contracts sent to work on.
Spray complete weed, grass, and brush killer to various railroads.
Do all daily routing and scheduling.
Do all daily tank mixing.
Do truck inspections (responsible for truck/spray system maintenance and repairs).
Calibrate all spray equipment.
Make sure all work is conducted in compliance with strict safety guidelines.
Responsible for all daily/weekly record keeping.
Handle all contact with customers.
Handle customer/public complaints.
Report any potential liabilities immediately.
Full understanding of weed, grass, and brush types.
Complete understanding of chemicals used, what they control, and all safety requirements.
Full understanding of application methods and equipment.
Full understanding of calibration and spray patterns.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have a Class A or B CDL and MUST be able to operate manual transmission trucks (No automatic restrictions).
CDL with tanker and air brake endorsement is required.
Ability to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time. (Hotel expenses paid by DCS).
Most work is done Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and most days are 10-12-hour shifts.
Some weekend, or night work may be required.
Occasional travel to offices during breaks to leave trucks/equipment for routine maintenance.
Hours may vary depending on weather conditions and workload.
Spraying will be seasonal coinciding with regional office.
Must comply with the company drug and alcohol policy.
