Data Collection Technician II

Q Analysts is looking for Data Collection Technicians to support the research department of our client who is at the cutting edge of the social media revolution. Needs good attention to detail, good follow through and a can do attitude along with basic Linux command line knowledge, general technical troubleshooting and basic scripting skills.

This project focuses on capturing visual data on rooms and/or spaces in different environments such as offices and homes. Occasionally they may be required to scan malls, museums, classrooms etc.

The capture consists of a scan that is performed by a head worn custom build helmet that integrates with a hand held laptop and a backpack that is worn by the technician to capture images of room and the entire space.
Concurrently, another technician may run the capture using a hand held wand scanner.
Work involves extensive walking each day
This is a national effort requiring flexibility to travel for the duration of the project.

Note that if travel is involved technicians may be required to stay in accommodations where the work is to be performed like Air BnB home rentals. Shoe allowance will be provided.

We are looking for a tester with extensive experience creating, designing and executing test plans and test cases for android based devices and PC platforms. · The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 using SSIS & SSAS in a large and complex data environment.

· The candidate needs to show expert proficiency in writing and optimizing complex PL-SQL & T-SQL and advanced dimensional modelling, with the ability to think outside the box.

Job Responsibilities:

· Create tune and test complex SQL stored procedures for large and complex OLAP/OLTP data sets

· DBA responsibilities for existing SQL 2008/2012/2014 databases

· Participate in requirement meetings with business consultants to understand and collect requirements.

· Validate the accuracy of business rules and transformations

· Conversion of SAS Mainframe scripting to T-SQL

· Data update automation of PowerPivot Dashboards

Minimum Required Skills:

· 10+ years Software Development Experience utilizing SDLC and Agile/Scrum

· 7+ years Business Intelligence Development Experience using KimBall Dimensional modelling methodology

· 7+ years Data Warehousing (SQL), Analysis Services (SSAS) and MDX

· 7+ years Data Warehousing ETL (SSIS), performance and auditing on large data

· Education: B.S. Computer Science, Management, or other technical area, or equivalent experience.

Preferred skills:

· SQL Server 2012/2014 experience using Tabular cubes, DAX, In-Memory OLTP, a plus

· Experience with Master Data Management & Data Quality concepts and applications, i.e. SQL Server MDM & DQS, a plus Knowledge of SQL Server SSAS Data Mining models, a plus

· Excellent oral and written communication

· Self Starter who takes initiative

· Strong knowledge of HealthCare industry, a plus

Q Analysts is looking for a Test Analyst for a project with one of its Clients who is a leader in the Virtual Reality space. Our Client's team applies a range of software, computer vision and robotics techniques to build systems and tools that enable accurate quality evaluation and regression testing of tracking systems and algorithms. We are looking for someone with testing skills on PC, mobile or standalone devices preferably Android based and Web. Role focuses on manual testing of the functionality for our Client's current and future products.
Responsibilities include:

* Run test cases for regression
* Edit existing cases for accuracy
* Review of bug reports from other team members
* Recreate bugs to validate
* Test case execution
* Software and hardware bug investigation and reporting
* Bug fix verification
* Skills:

* Testing expertise with mobile, PC and Web applications and devices
