Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer at Q Microwave, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and integration of advanced RF components, including the packaging of RF boards and components into robust, manufacturable mechanical housings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, RF, manufacturing, and assembly of custom RF hardwarefrom initial concept design to full-rate production.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical enclosures and hardware for RF filters and integrated RF subassemblies.
Integrate CCA (Circuit Card Assemblies), Connectors, and RF board layouts into precision-machined mechanical housings that meet harsh environments RF/mechanical requirements (e.g. hermeticity, vibration, temperatureetc).
Collaborate with RF and electrical engineering teams to ensure alignment of PCB and mechanical designs.
Utilize CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and tolerance analyses.
Perform thermal and structural analysis to ensure design robustness in defense and aerospace environments.
Support transition to manufacturing, including documentation, tooling and fixture development, and design-for-manufacturability efforts.
Assist with prototype builds, design reviews, product testing, and root-cause analysis.
Work closely with local manufacturing and supply chain teams to support material selection, process optimization, and production readiness.
Generate and maintain manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering change documentation per Q Microwave and Amphenol standards.
The ability to work independently and proactively resolve work issues or notify supervisors of the resources needed. The ability to coordinate with other employees and work as part of a cross-functional team
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsincluding RF, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineeringto drive integrated product development, resolve technical challenges, and support production goals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Technical Field
Three - Five (3-5) years of working in product development, mechanical design, or manufacturing of RF or electronic products.
Experience with mechanical integration of PCBs, RF structures, connectors, and other electrical components.
Proficient in basic office tools including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint) and email platforms
Proficient in CAD tools such as LabView, AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software.
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
Preferred:
Eight (8) to Ten (10+) years experience.
Masters Degree in a Technical Field.
Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Familiarity with high-frequency RF performance constraints related to mechanical design (e.g., grounding, shielding, thermal management).
Familiarity with component selection for high-reliability/aerospace/defense applications.
Excellent technical communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Flexibility in work schedules and task assignments; some overtime may be required.

The Data Integration Engineer designs, builds, and operates batch and streaming pipelines that move data from MS SQL Server, MongoDB, legacy files, and third-party APIs into our Data Vault warehouse and machine-learning (ML) cluster, ensuring that data is accurate, timely, and analytics-ready. The role blends hands-on ETL/ELT development in SSIS, Spark, Runbooks, and Azure Data Factory with data-modeling expertise (hubs, links, satellites) to support scalable reporting, predictive models, and AI agents. Working closely with development team and cross-functional product teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy incremental and full load pipelines using SSIS, Spark, Runbooks and Azure Data Factory to ingest data into landing, raw, and curated layers of the Data Vault.
Build CDC (change data capture) solutions to minimize latency for downstream reporting and ML features.
Automate schema evolution and metadata population for hubs, links, and satellites.
Implement validation rules, unit tests, and data quality frameworks to enforce referential integrity and conformance to business rules.
Maintain a requirements traceability matrix and publish data lineage documentation Metadata Management / SSAS models.
Partner with Business Analysts to translate user stories into technical interfaces and mapping specs.
Provide regular knowledge transfer sessions and production support, serving as Tier 2 escalation for data integration incidents.
Create CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git) to version ETL code, infrastructure as code, and automated tests.
Develop PowerShell/.NET utilities to orchestrate jobs, manage secrets, and push metrics to Grafana or Azure Monitor.
Benchmark and tune Spark, SQL, and SSIS performance; recommend index strategies, partitioning, and cluster sizing strategies for cost/performance balance.
Stay current with emerging integration patterns (e.g., event driven architectures, Delta Lake) and propose pilots for adoption.
Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.

Keeping current tasks within schedule and budget to fit the needs of the project
Coordinating the work of drafting personnel, technicians or other engineers on technical matters pertinent to project assignments.
Provides technical input and collaborates with other departments.
Prepare design calculations, design drawings and specifications necessary for most economical method of construction; or prepare feasibility studies.
Responsible for coordinating technical and administrative activities within the various departments of the firm; and those of outside consultants.

What You'll Do:
Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways
