The Senior Manager, Portfolio Delivery Manager Role We are looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Senior Manager, Portfolio Delivery Manager to lead our growing project management function. In this dual-role, you will both manage key portfolio initiatives to drive accelerated business value and lead a team of project and change managers, guiding them in the successful delivery of projects that impact Product, Customer Success, Sales, Finance and more. The Director, Renewal Sales will: * Lead and Manage the Americas Renewal Sales Team: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and performance management to a team of renewal sales professionals across the region. * Drive GRR Performance: Own the Gross Renewal Rate (GRR) for the AMER region, executing strategies to ensure renewals, minimize churn, and maximize customer satisfaction. * Transition Customers to SaaS and AI Solutions: Lead efforts to move customers from on-premise solutions to Qlik's cloud-based SaaS offerings and AI-driven innovations, positioning these transitions as opportunities for growth and enhanced customer outcomes. * Customer Retention and Growth: Develop strategies to not only secure renewals but also identify opportunities to drive additional value and growth within accounts through upselling and cross-selling. * Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify at-risk customers and collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams to develop tailored solutions that address their needs and ensure renewal. * Collaborate with the Customer Success Organization: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Services, and Sales, to optimize customer retention, adoption, and satisfaction. * Data-Driven Strategy: Utilize analytics to monitor renewal trends, forecast outcomes, and inform decisions, ensuring that strategies are informed by data and tailored to the specific dynamics of the AMER market. * Operational Excellence: Ensure that renewal processes are streamlined and scalable, working with internal stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, compliance, and adherence to pricing strategies. * Strategic Leadership: Own the development of the AMER renewal sales strategy, aligning with global objectives and ensuring that the team's efforts support both customer retention and growth initiatives. We're looking for a teammate with the following skills and qualifications: * 7+ years of experience in sales, customer success, or renewals, with at least 3 years in a leadership role owning a quota. * Proven track record of driving GRR and exceeding renewal targets, particularly in a subscription-based model within the AMER region. * Experience leading customer transitions to cloud/SaaS environments and familiarity with AI-driven solutions. * Ability to identify and drive growth opportunities within accounts while effectively managing and mitigating renewal risk. * Strong team leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing a high-performing team. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of how to use analytics to inform decisions and forecast outcomes. * Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems and cloud-based software. * Background in business intelligence or data analytics software. * Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
