SUMMARY:
Our team develops software platforms to automate the testing of RF devices, with a strong focus on data acquisition, analysis, and continuous improvement. This role involves full-cycle solution development-from evaluating issues and requests to designing, implementing, and validating solutions. Increasingly, our team is leveraging AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), to enhance automation, decision-making, and system intelligence. The role also includes research into emerging technologies and hardware to drive innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement automated RF test solutions for WiFi, LTE, and other wireless components (e.g., power amplifiers, switches, FEMs)
Design and maintain software systems using C#.NET, VB.NET, Python, and other modern languages
Integrate AI technologies, including LLMs and machine learning, into test platforms to enhance automation, data interpretation, and user interaction
Design and write system prompts for LLMs to optimize performance in engineering workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and deploy new improvements and solutions
Administer and configure Jira projects and workflows to support agile development and issue tracking
Design and maintain database systems for efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis
Lead the development of RF test system architecture using industry-standard equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, PXI, etc.)
Create formal documentation for hardware, software, and system architecture
Mentor junior engineers in RF testing, software development, and AI integration Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues, optimizing system performance
Research and evaluate new test equipment and wireless standards
Communicate technical and business risks effectively to stakeholders
Drive software architecture decisions, including subsystem compatibility and methodology selection
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
5-10 years of experience in software development, AI, and/or electronic testing
Proficiency in C#.NET, Python, and object-oriented programming
Experience integrating AI technologies into engineering workflows
Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI system design
Experience with database architecture (SQL, PostgreSQL, DataBricks)
Experience using Jira for software project management (Jira administration experience preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Experience with Git and agile development methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hands-on, non-software (electronic measurements, soldering/breadboards, or data analysis) experience preferred
Understanding of electronics (analog, digital, and RF theory) preferred

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $121,700 - $158,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

In this role, you will lead manufacturing operations, engineering, test engineering, and possibly maintenance. Seeking a Senior Layout Designer responsible for the layout of RF and mixed signal integrated circuit components from schematics, diagrams or netlists utilizing commercial/standard bulk CMOS and SOI technologies in accordance with design rule. The Sr. Principal Layout Designer will be responsible for taking the physical design from schematic through physical verification and tape-out in a timely manner with minimal assistance. Responsibilities

Will be handling small devices using tweezers and a microscope.
Receives pass down from prior shift operator and then verifies documentation and test programs currently running to ensure accurate prior to taking over test equipment.
Conducts routine and repetitive tests on circuits, components, and electronic units using established test procedures.
Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics and test equipment.
Dispositions product depending on test results and may include retesting.
Maintains documentation on test results in written format and/or via data entry into SPC system.
Provides pass down to next operator at end of shift.

Ability to operate and multi-task between 2 to 4 electronic test machines.

The Document Control Specialist (Configuration Analyst) will oversee and manage the structured control of Bill of Materials (BOMs), system settings, and lifecycle processes within AX and related business systems.
