Industrial & Municipal Cleaning Operator (CDL B) to join our growing field services division. This role is critical in supporting both private industrial clients and public municipal systems, delivering high-quality service while maintaining a commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork.
Core Responsibilities:
Operate vacuum trucks, high-pressure jetters, hydro-excavators, and other specialty equipment to complete a wide range of industrial and municipal cleaning tasks, including:
Lift station and sanitary sewer line cleaning
Stormwater system and catch basin cleanouts
Grease trap and interceptor pumping
Tank, sump, and pit cleaning at industrial sites
Confined space entry and permit-required space work
Pressure washing and manual debris removal
Understand the scope of work and regulatory requirements for both industrial and municipal jobs in advance of dispatch. Take full ownership of job safety, task execution, and customer satisfaction.
Lead or assist in job walk-throughs with municipal and industrial clients before, during, and after project completion.
Accurately complete all required paperwork, including job safety analysis (JSA), pre-trip inspections, confined space permits, manifests, and service tickets.
Maintain and inspect equipment assigned, including vacuum trucks, jetters, hoses, and support tools, ensuring readiness for daily use and emergency response.
Represent the company professionally while onsite, particularly during public-facing municipal work or emergency response situations.
Support other departments (Waste Treatment, Transportation, Sales, Administration) as needed for cross-functional projects or customer solutions.
Qualifications:
Valid Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement required
2+ years of commercial driving experience (preferred)
Prior experience with municipal work (stormwater, sewer systems, lift stations, etc.) highly preferred
Comfortable working in public roadways, confined spaces, and adverse weather conditions
Strong understanding of jobsite safety, environmental regulations, and documentation standards
Ability to operate manual vehicles
Technically proficient with handheld devices, including smartphones and tablets
Must meet acceptable standards for driving record, background check, and drug/alcohol screening

UAB Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the DVT Team! In accordance with UAHSF established policies and procedures, the APP is responsible for the provision and management of patient care in a clinical area for a specific patient population including UAB. This population will be patients diagnosed with deep venous thrombosis. Under the general direction of physicians in Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and Hematology the APP will perform inpatient DVT consultations, routine management of inpatients with DVT, and outpatient clinic. The APP will utilize critical thinking abilities in the evaluation of care and the triage of DVT patients with the assistance of Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and Hematology staff. The APP will display good rapport and professionalism with patients, house staff, and all members of the team. The collaborating physician shall be available for direct communication for consultation and referral or arrange for the same medical coverage by a physician who is preapproved by the State Board of Medical Examiners in the same manner as the collaborating physician of record.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Based on thorough physical and psychosocial patient assessments, formulates and implements
comprehensive patient care plans focused on prevention, diagnosis and comprehensive treatment
of disease. Plans include patient and family education, prescriptions, additional lab and diagnostic testing, and therapies.
2. Ensures complete documentation of patient assessments, patient care plans, and care provided.
3. Orders and interprets laboratory and other diagnostic tests for the patient.
4. Maintains records and reports as required by regulatory agencies and The Joint Commission (TJC).
May coordinate and/or participate in performance and quality improvement activities.
5. May assist in the coordination of research protocols, serving as a patient advocate and a liaison
between the patient and other health care providers.
6. Provides assistance in orientation and/or training of new clinical personnel as needed. Provides
educational information by conducting workshops, in-service training and distributing appropriate
materials for patients and staff.
7. Serves as the expert clinical resource to the clinical staff and patients in the area of specialty.
8. Provides a safe environment for patients and others.
9. Demonstrates a responsible attitude toward continued professional growth.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing with a Family NP, Adult Primary NP, or Adult Acute Care NP certification or graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners with certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required. For this role ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
