How You'll Make an Impact The Buyer II independently manages routine OSP procurement activities, ensuring parts flow on schedule while meeting quality and cost expectations. This role requires solid judgment and proactive communication across departments. What you'll be doing as a Buyer II: Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location. Independently create, manage, and track routine POs for OSP services. Manage vendor communications and monitor supplier performance on assigned work. Gather pricing and lead time information to support Estimating and quoting efforts. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with invoicing, delivery, and supplier documentation with minimal oversight. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth part flow and schedule alignment. Contribute to supplier performance feedback and vendor selection. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience): 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain (preferably aerospace/manufacturing). Familiarity with OSP services (heat treat, anodize, NDT, etc.). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to read and understand basic technical documents, drawings, and specs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/MRP systems. Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience): Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. How You'll Make an Impact The Hone Set-up Operator is responsible for setting up and operating honing machines to produce precision metal parts to exacting specifications. This role requires strong manufacturing skills, a thorough understanding of machine operations and controls, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement as part of a world-class manufacturing team. What you'll be doing as a Hone Setup Operator: Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location. Set up, adjust, and operate honing machines to perform precision finishing operations on metal parts. Lift, position, and secure parts in machine holding fixtures. Move machine controls to feed tools into part, engage automatic feed, and monitor operation. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, tool wear, or out-of-tolerance conditions; report discrepancies to lead or supervisor. Change worn cutting tools and replace or adjust tooling as needed using appropriate hand tools. Thoroughly inspect first-piece runs and verify part conformance using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges). Adjust cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut to achieve specified finishes and tolerances. Read and interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Recognize and report production problems or nonconforming conditions to supervision. Perform minor assembly operations as needed (fastening parts with nuts, bolts, and screws). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow all prescribed safety regulations and company guidelines. Complete assigned tasks within required timeframes and with minimal supervision. How You'll Make an Impact CNC Machinist can transform a rough product into something complete within exacting tolerances. Machinists work alongside many departments such as: Quality, Engineering, and Operations to produce high-quality products. What you'll be doing as a CNC Machinist: Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location supporting our swing shift. With limited supervision, performs intermediate level machining of parts and tools. Sets up and operates all available machine tools and performs progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances. Understands qualities of metals and alloys and applies that knowledge to parts being machined. Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools Understands and comprehends all forms of technical documents including blueprints and drawings, written specifications, charts, tables, etc. Skillfully uses all machinist hand tools and measuring instruments. Sets up and lays out own work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications according to requirements. Maintains a track record of high-quality work with low rework and scrap history.
