Intern Responsibilities
As a Resource Coordinator Intern, you will work within the CREATE team and support the Resource Manager, Heads of Department (HODs), and Project Management team. With minimal consultative supervision, the Program Manager will serve as the principal point of contact to key military and commercial customers. Prepare complete project plans addressing many factors of manufacturing
Control and manage changes and project risks on a continuous and pro-active basis
Ensure smooth transition of project at completion of development phase
Manage and direct all project activity to ensure contractual and technical requirements are met
Manage action items, timelines, resource allocation and progress to project plans
Balance Company and Customer needs across all project activities
Work with Finance to ask actual project costs in relation to budget

How You'll Make an Impact
Under limited supervision, the Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day execution of assigned aerospace manufacturing projects. This role works closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams-including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality-to track progress, maintain project documentation, and ensure timely delivery of internal and customer milestones. The Project Manager plays a key role in supporting production and delivery schedules, facilitating communication, and escalating issues as needed to leadership.
What you'll be doing as an Aerospace Manufacturing Project Manager:
Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location.
Support project execution from kickoff to delivery by tracking schedules, action items, and deliverables
Work closely with Program Managers to monitor project progress and update internal trackers
Assist in preparing project documentation, status reports, and customer updates
Monitor timelines, production schedules, and shipping deadlines to flag potential delays
Support daily coordination between internal departments (Planning, Operations, Quality, etc.)
Maintain project folders, documentation logs, and internal communication tools
Participate in internal project meetings and capture action items or next steps
Help communicate customer requirements and priorities to internal teams
Support inventory tracking and material readiness in coordination with Supply Chain
Assist with project-related data entry in ERP/MRP systems
Escalate risks, delays, or resource constraints to the Program Manager or department leadership
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance project execution and visibility

Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience):
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, aerospace preferred
Understanding of project management fundamentals
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production schedules
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

How You'll Make an Impact
With minimal consultative supervision, the Program Manager will serve as the principal point of contact to key military and commercial customers. The Program Manager is responsible for the management and execution of contracts working closely with multiple organizations including Business Development, Contracts, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Major Subcontractors, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Finance. What you'll be doing as an Aerospace Manufacturing Program Manager:
Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location.
Manage assigned projects from proposal stage through completion ensuring compliance of all program requirements and documentation
Participate in proposal development for projects
Prepare complete project plans addressing many factors of manufacturing
Control and manage changes and project risks on a continuous and pro-active basis
Ensure smooth transition of project at completion of development phase
Manage and direct all project activity to ensure contractual and technical requirements are met
Manage action items, timelines, resource allocation and progress to project plans
Balance Company and Customer needs across all project activities
Work with Finance to ask actual project costs in relation to budget
Provide project status reports and updates to RTC Senior Management, including recovery plans for any non-compliant aspects
Prepare and lead project reviews for customers as needed
Serve as primary contact with the customer for coordination of requirements and project performance reporting
Ensure that complete customer requirements are provided to Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality and that all activities support project needs
Assist with special projects and participate on process improvement teams as requested
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience):
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant work experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace industry
Experience as a Contract Administrator/Project Manager or similar
Experience with Project Management tools such as milestone charts, project scheduling and staffing plans
Familiarity with manufacturing of complex assemblies
Excellent PC skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with MRP systems and other production scheduling methods

Machinists work alongside many departments such as: Quality, Engineering, and Operations to produce high-quality products.
What you'll be doing as a CNC Machinist:
Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location supporting our swing shift.
With limited supervision, performs intermediate level machining of parts and tools.
Sets up and operates all available machine tools and performs progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances.
Understands qualities of metals and alloys and applies that knowledge to parts being machined.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools
