About the role: The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting sheet metal parts, welded assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, welding standards, and customer requirements. Ensure inspection tools and gauges are calibrated and properly maintained. Follow all company safety, ISO 9001, and quality system procedures. Minium Qualifications: High school diploma or technical certification required, associate degree in a technical field preferred. 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a sheet metal fabrication or welding environment. Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM experience a plus). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, spot welding) and common weld defects. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and weld symbols. Familiarity with AWS D1.1 or similar welding standards; welding inspection certification (CWI, WI) preferred. Quality Inspector II (2 nd shift) Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager (278) Summary: Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Job Functions: Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities, such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics. Records test data per inspection plans, applying statistical quality control procedures if appropriate. Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. Maintains and reviews inspection data in SPC software. Analyzes capability and determines appropriate actions for deviant conditions. Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics per blueprint and/or customer specific requirements. Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for SPC analysis. Performs in-process inspection and first-piece approval of parts utilizing OGP, Keyence, CMM, comparator and /or hand instruments, gages and fixtures. Set up and run CMM, Keyence and OGP programs on new launches, existing production, prototypes, tooling and other items as directed. Accurately interprets blueprints including all GD&T symbols and utilizes information when inspecting parts. Perform raw materials and outside services inspection including physical verification of dimensions and gages. Review of all specific documents, standards and clauses indicated on the purchase order. :Job Requirements Requires a High School diploma. The API Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and other static mechanical equipment in accordance with applicable API codes (e.g., API 510, API 570, API 653). The role ensures the mechanical integrity and safety compliance of assets during operations, turnarounds, and outages. Key Responsibilities: Conduct internal and external inspections of equipment in accordance with API 510, 570, and/or 653 standards. Evaluate the condition and integrity of pressure vessels, piping systems, and aboveground storage tanks. Prepare detailed inspection reports and document findings using digital reporting tools or databases. Interpret and apply applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to prioritize inspection tasks. Recommend repair or replacement strategies based on inspection findings. Assist with developing inspection plans and schedules for routine and turnaround inspections. Maintain inspection certifications and stay current with updates to API codes and best practices.

Brush off grading frame at end of each shift and remove trim waste from sewing machine basket. Record yards on batch up rolls. Check defect and remove defect when needed.
