    Job title: CNC Machinist Reports to: CNC Supervisor Supervisory responsibilities: None. Summary/objective: Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Essential functions: Download programs and MDI (Manual Data Input) as needed. Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances required. Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results. Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration. Keep work area clean. Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management. Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours. Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required. Operate overhead cranes Required competency, education, and experience: Experience with 3 axis mills A well rounded knowledge of cutters and inserts, and feeds/speeds. Candidate must have high school or equivalent education. Candidate must have valid driver's license Preferred education and experience: Experience with automation cell Experience with 4-axis milling Two years of machining experience Programming experience using Fusion 360 Work environment: Manufacturing environment Physical demands: Candidate must have full use of all limbs. Candidate must be able to read and speak English. Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds. Position type and expected hours of work: Full time, weekend night-shift. Friday through Sunday 5:00 pm - 5:15 am. Travel: None.
