PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is in a Penicillin Facility. The candidate cannot be allergic to Penicillin, and will be required to undergo Penicillin allergy testing.
This department requires the SMO to bend, reach, lift and stand for extended periods of time. The SMO must be able to grasp from 4 - 5 filled syringes at a time in one hand while manipulating them with the other hand for overall evaluation for defects.
All SMOs must have corrected 20/20 vision and must be able to pass a routine inspection test using seeded syringes.
The Penicillin Inspection/Packaging department is currently operating on a one-shift basis, five days per week. However, SMOs must be available for extended hours and six to seven day operations, if required. In order to maintain the required delivery schedule, overtime may be required.
The hourly rate is $26.57 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies. Key responsibilities
Create and edit 2D/3D toolpaths in Mastercam/MazaCAM from customer or internal CAD models and drawings.
Set up CNC mills, including work holding, tooling selection, tool offsets, work offsets, and program loading.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to determine machining strategies and critical features.
Run first-article parts, verify dimensions using appropriate measuring tools, and adjust programs/offsets to hold tolerances.
Optimize feeds, speeds, and toolpaths to improve cycle time, tool life, and surface finish while protecting equipment.
Perform routine machine maintenance, keep work area clean, and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Document setups, programs, and process notes to support repeatability and standard work.
Collaborate with engineers, quality, and supervisors to resolve machining issues and continuously improve processes.
Required qualifications
Previous experience programming and operating CNC mills using Mastercam/MazaCAM in a production or job-shop environment.
Strong ability to read blueprints, CAD models, and apply GD comfortable working with tight tolerances.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.
Solid understanding of CNC G-code, cutting tools, work holding, and machining best practices.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and meeting production schedules on first shift.

What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Associate with Lift Truck Operation, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, safe and transport operations. In this dynamic environment, you'll be cross-trained to handle tasks from receiving raw materials, supplying production lines with materials to staging customer orders-your attention to detail and safe work habits keep our success moving.
+ + Accurately prepare, receive, and put away orders according to strict standards
+ Safely operate lift trucks and efficiently transport materials and finished goods
+ Follow FIFO, pulling materials and transporting to production lines
+ Label, seal, palletize, and wrap products for safe delivery
+ Embrace Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and always wear PPE
+ Keep our workspace clean and safe by following protocols
+ Use scan guns and quickly record data in SAP
What You'll Need to Succeed
+ + High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older
+ 1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal.
+ 6 months of prior LTO and/or electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred.
+ Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime.
+ Must be self-motivated and conscientious.
+ Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers.
+ Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems.
+ Ability to complete certification requirements
+ Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred.

The pay rate for this position is $17.34 per hour. Material Handler/Tow Motor Operator
1st Shift - Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
$17.00/Hour
Responsibilities:
Proficient with a tow motor (35%-50% of the time) and an overhead crane safely
Able to lift 40 lbs., and move heavier objects with the use of the overhead crane
Have dexterity to move around the load tables
Fixtures parts according to shop paperwork and/or supervisor instructions
Builds furnace loads
Masks parts when necessary
Unloads parts from heat treated loads and returns to customer containers
Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of designated area
Physical Demands:
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to lift 60 lbs
Ability to withstand high temperatures
Tow motor operation
