All cable products are made in El Dorado, Arkansas or Katy, Texas. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance before they reach our customers. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, review quality metrics and other KPI's to assist Operations * Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and standards * Lead & participate in problem-solving teams to address high cost and/or high frequency defects. * Serve as point person for quality system audits from third-party agencies and customers. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production & Engineering to ensure products meet customer demands and expectations. * Work closely with the production team to continuously improve the quality of existing products and services * Assist with customer complaints to ensure containment, determine root causes, implement corrective actions and communicate with customers. * Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science,Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * 3-5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing. * Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Professional cerfitifcaiton in Six Sigma, QA Certification are a Plus AmerCable is an equal opportunity employer. Primary Responsibilities: Daily operations of the lab, incoming sample processing, maintaining calibration of equipment Ensuring health and safety processes and procedures are followed, maintenance of a safe, ergonomically sound, professional work environment. Responsible for on time delivery of test reports free of errors and meet customer expectations. delivery of jobs Implement efficiency improvement, process improvement, and 5 S processes Profile of the position (Responsibilities): Responsible for daily testing of the laboratory Oversee safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and cleanliness of department (including upgrades, repairs, etc.) Oversee implementation of SOPs for incoming sample processing in accordance with company policy Oversee/Ensure all processed documentation is complete and reviewed as required Ensure sample workflow from logistics meets the needs of the department Monitor special handling of identified clients Must be able to establish a positive work environment that actively encourages and supports employee involvement Track/enter time/attendance of employees Prepare month-end reports Investigates/resolves and responds to client complaints Responsible to ensure company policies are followed Effectively work with internal departments to resolve problems. Must have interpersonal skills to gain cooperation with other departments, and foster continuous improvements Strong written and spoken English skills, other languages will be an advantage Persuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point and a strong ability to sell a concept Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player Qualifications Education & Experience College Degree Preferred with emphasis on Mechanical engineering background With 1-2 working experiences in Bike industry is preferable Bachelor's degree desired but not required At least 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred Computer skills, MS Office applications The ability to effectively work with internal departments to resolve problems.
