Our goals are achieved with thorough assessment and analysis of Visa's business requirements to develop, manage, and implement official testing methodologies that are utilized by internal Visa teams and external test partners like Visa recognized testing laboratories. This Technology Analyst position in Chip Testing and Approval Services reports to the Director of Chip Testing and Approval Services in Foster City, California. The incumbent will be responsible to review Visa test plans and related test tools developed for Visa payment specifications, review test reports from Visa's recognized test laboratories for official product approvals and contribute as a testing expert in the Visa chip test lab, special assignments, or projects on as needed basis.
Responsibilities
Perform test plan and test tool validation for Visa specifications using internal validation methodologies to endorse the deliverables for official release and use in Approval Services' testing process.
Collaborate with internal test development team for the delivery of updated or new test plans for the validation process.
Collaborate with Visa accredited test tool vendors as a technical expert on Visa test plans and specifications for tool validation, fixes, and enhancements.
Perform reviews on official test reports from Visa accredited testing laboratories for compliance with Visa specifications and provide results to a review manager for a product's approval certification.
Perform testing activities with automated testing systems in the Foster City chip test labs, as part of Approval Services' business-as-usual interoperability testing operations.
Collaborate in special projects or assignments on as needed basis for testing or to contribute technical expertise in Visa's test plans and test tools.
Contribute knowledge and communicate interoperability risks or issues to management, by insightful and thoughtful questioning, sharing of new ideas, risks considerations and possible solutions.
Champion the compliance with Approval Services' process and policies in daily duties and in collaboration with others in the team or external partners.
Actively participate in cross-disciplinary working groups and collaborate closely with co-workers from other functional groups within Visa.
