    Little Rapids Corporation (LRC) is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist at our Nexxa- Print Division. LRC is headquartered in Green Bay out of our Graham location and has three divisions - Shawano Specialty Papers, Graham Professional, and Nexxa - Print Division. Nexxa is a flexographic printing plant that supplies printed film, paper, and nonwovens to the retail towel and tissue category, as well as medical, commercial, and industrial industries. This position will be the “Voice of the Customer” on the manufacturing floor, supporting the manufacturing team to meet and exceed quality expectations. This position will be responsible for documentation and coordination/investigation of customer complaints and internal quality opportunities and assist in creating quality forms, SOPs, OPLs, Test Methods and work instructions. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update Certificate of Analysis database. Coordinate the incoming customer complaints: Timely recording of customer complaints Conduct defective product containment (including return material authorization) Communicate with sales/customer/customer service as needed Assist the Senior Sustainability & Quality Manager in assessment of customer needs in terms of replacement product, response needed etc. Lead/assist the nonconformity investigation including problem identification, root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions as needed Monitor complaint system for trends and prepare reports for communication. Follow up on completion of corrective actions and related documentation. Assist Senior Sustainability & Quality Manager in providing timely response / corrective actions / SCAR responses to LRC customers Assist in facilitation of New Items Meetings and maintaining / updating the specifications database Assist in evaluation of non-conforming material in Quality Hold Area and appropriate disposition of non-conforming product. This includes maintaining the Quality Hold Area Train site personnel on Quality and Food Safety requirements during New Hire orientation. Participate in daily Gemba Walks and related AIR (Action Item Register) Coordinate the Raw Material rejections and assist with supplier issues Facilitate customer visits. Maintain the Press Retains Area Conduct plant audits (Gemba audits, product audits, etc.) and trend the data for potential corrective actions to continuously improve. Perform quality tests as needed Perform incoming/final inspections as needed Support and participate in Kaizens (e.g. 6S, SMED, VSM) and other continuous improvement efforts. Follow and maintain all Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP guidelines, and provide support in achieving Food Safety objectives. Maintain current or future site certifications (i.e. 9001:2015 or Food Safety) with the support of Senior Sustainability & Quality Manager. Site representative for 3 rd party audits. Education, Certifications, and Experience: Associates degree in Quality or related field. 3 years of experience in coordinating customer complaint investigations / structured problem solving preferred. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Contributes to quality engineering discussions. · Owns medium sized quality engineering tasks; and delivers while mentoring and helping team members. · Makes technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact. · Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. · Expert in core data structures and algorithms. · Integrates project testing with continuous-integration process. · Works with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. · Provides expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project. · Develops and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
