The Analyst primarily performs analysis of bulk samples using PLM for asbestos, and analysis of non-culturable surface and air samples for fungi. Analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples according to scientific methodology in compliance with company Quality Assurance programs and SOP's, and must be knowledgeable of both job-specific routine and complex analyses. The analyst validates and reviews data for accuracy, and enters laboratory data into the LIMS that ultimately generates required reports to clients. Job Summary

Champion layered process audit (LPA) functions for each process within the respective value stream. Will also need to perform LPAs as directed by various schedules.
Facilitate corrective action teams (8D, PDCA, 5-Why, or comparable) to address defective quality in all products within the value stream. Prepare additional documentation at the customer's request. Also, to ensure all internal and external communications are delivered in a timely manner.
Make initial quality decisions on a suspect product based on the design records, specifications, fit, form, and function of the product as well as the customer's requirements.
Develop and manage sorting procedures for suspect product, quality.
Work with manufacturing to develop standardized work instructions. Also, rework procedures for suspect product quality.
Lead all quality team members on the manufacturing floor to ensure product quality is continuously monitored.
Train team members as needed to ensure defect-free products leave the facility 100% of the time.
Develop and manage the dock audit program.
Knowledge and provide support for calibration programs, which include gauges, check fixtures, and other measuring devices.
Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies.

Experience and Education
