Vaccination Policy Notice:
New hire workers, regardless of work location or job responsibilities, must be vaccinated before beginning employment. Please note that the positions on this team cannot offer any accomodations, so exceptions to the vax policy cannot be granted.

Position Notes:
These roles are hybrid and workers will be expected to be onsite in downtown St. Paul 60-80% of the time and will work from home the remainder of the time. These roles are to assist with the busy season and are potentially contract to hire. Conversion will be based off of performance and available FTE openings. It is expected that during the training period, workers will be working a fixed schedule 8:00-4:45pm with Training period 8:00-4:45pm; then flexibility w/ core hours 7am-6pm| M-F | Unpaid Lunch.

Please note these openings will be focused on billing/QA. Very little to no phone work will be required.

These roles could be on the phones up to (7 hours/day). The manager expects that they will be on the phones all day Mondays (8 hours) and half of the day Tuesday (4 hours), but this could vary. Anticipated 80% processing and 20% phones.

Position Summary:
Affinity Customer Service is an exciting division that aligns with our corporate efficiency goals otherwise known as Vision 2020. This includes streamlining workflows and providing excellent customer service that meets or exceeds our customers' expectations. We're looking for an individual who is positive and enthusiastic - who enjoys a fast pace with high volume processing. This individual will develop an in-depth understanding of both the Financial Institution and Employer markets including the products they offer. An ideal candidate is a quick learner who adapts to new systems or procedures and is able to apply this information effectively during problem resolution as well as know when to seek assistance. Service oriented phone skills are required for outbound calling. This position is approx 80% processing and data entry work and 20% phone work, both inbound and outbound, to provide service directly to our customers.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Enter required data with a high degree of accuracy. This will include a variety of form types or electronic files, such as but not limited to applications, withdrawal requests, basic billing, personal information changes, authorizations, coverage verifications, and return mail.
Prepare and manage customer correspondence including, but not limited to creating customer letters, emails, spreadsheets.
Fulfill customer service requests for kits, forms, brochures, rate charts and confirmations via mail, email and fax.
Edit, proof, and perform quality checks on documents prepared within work team.
Use sound judgement to research and resolve problems that inhibit processing.
Place Outbound administration follow up calls. Support Inbound call center overflow calls as scheduled or as needed to support volume spikes ensuring service level agreements are achieved.
Support and respond to team Inbox.
All tasks must adhere to department quality standards and be completed within service level obligations.

Qualifications:
Strong data entry skills which include speed and accuracy.
Ability to navigate multiple windows-based systems simultaneously
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and reading and creating Excel spreadsheets.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail with ability to apply good judgement to situations.
Strong customer focus on both internal and external customers.
Ability to prioritize, manage time, and rapidly change focus as determined by business need.
Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.

What You'll Do for Us

+ Accountable for efficient and accurate quality testing of ingredients and finished products to ensure product and package integrity in accordance with standard operating procedures.

+ Performs ingredient weight and set-up for mixing batches, concentrate cycle counts and mixes syrup batches in accordance with mixing instructions and procedures.

+ Perform the quality inspection functions for finished products to assure product quality and package integrity is within specifications.

+ Perform all documentation associated with quality checks and data entry.

+ Set-up and calibrate test equipment and prepare testing reagents.

+ Perform all required microbiological testing and testing on: Brix, pH, Acid, Assay and Vitamin C when used in the products.

+ Ensure that all tasks are performed toward achieving the safety, quality, service and cost initiatives.

+ Must be able to maintain a strong level of confidentiality - all formulas are confidential

+ Solid math skills are required along with basic reading and writing skills

+ Must successfully pass Aon (behavioral/personality test) assessment test

+ Ability to move at least 65 lbs. a distance of 5 feet and stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods (2 hours) are required

+ Must be able to safely operate a forklift

+ Basic knowledge of the lab's equipment such as: Refractometer, pH meter, Auto titrator, Density Meter, Turbidity Meter are required

+ Knowledge of OSHA Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and an understanding of the control of Hazardous Energy are needed

+ Must possess knowledge of sanitation and food handling standards or GMP preferred

+ Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under stressful situations
