You will be a part of the Compliance Operations Quality Assurance team, which is responsible for conducting Quality Assurance audits on transaction monitoring system (TMS) cases, working with production teams from CX and Compliance. In your day-to-day role, you will be responsible for auditing TMS cases to support Coinbase's AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering / Combatting the Financing of Terrorism) program. This role will also identify opportunities to improve procedural updates, create and present metrics, train new analysts, and work on providing insights through established feedback loops.

The candidate will ensure work is performed efficiently and must have knowledge of electrical, piping, ventilation, mechanical processes, procedures and components.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Determining workload and test priorities based on project schedules managed by Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Lead(s).
Determining & managing the acquisition and maintenance of departmental test equipment.
Developing Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) to conduct work on ship's systems in accordance with Ship Alteration (ShipAlt) Technical Work Documents (TWDs) and verification that work boundaries are safely isolated and tagged out IAW Tag-out User's Manual (TUM).
Maintaining qualifications & training, while also ensuring that all work onboard assigned ships is conducted safely and in accordance with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and EB policies & procedures
Perform collateral duties as needed to support work as an off-site department such as Work Package Control (WPC), deck plate surveillances, and quality review of technical work documents (TWDs).
Coordinating work & testing amongst various on-site EB trades, supervision, and senior management. There will also be extensive coordination between shipyard and ship's force personnel.
Candidates must be willing to travel as part of fulfilling this role. Travel may be expected for up to 1 year at a time and must be able to travel anywhere within the continental United States or Guam.
Technical Ability:
Responsibilities include verifying TWD scope is safely and properly isolated prior to work authorization. Candidate must have technical aptitude and professionalism to coordinate with other Electric Boat departments, Shipyard personnel, and other industry partners to deconflict work controls and testing priorities.
