People Leadership Direct and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, setting clear expectations and guiding performance management, development, engagement, and succession planning. Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Quality Execution & Continuous Improvement Drive Lean Manufacturing, Zero Defects (ZDP), ACE, and/or Continuous Improvement methodologies to optimize quality performance, reduce escapes, and strengthen process capability. Oversee production process analyses, root-cause investigations, corrective/preventive action (CAPA), and implementation of sustainable improvements. Lead efforts to collect, analyze, and leverage quality data from multiple operational and program sources to inform long-term strategy. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Partner closely with Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functional stakeholders to proactively address quality risks and support program execution. Interface with customers as needed to support audits, resolve quality concerns, and champion improvement initiatives. Documentation & Reporting Ensure the preparation, accuracy, and maintenance of all Quality documentation, metrics, and governance required for internal and external compliance. Monitor and manage performance metrics that impact quality throughout the Coralville operation.
