Job Responsibilities: * Provide quality support to Stat labs and main lab * Serve as the laboratory director for up to 5 moderate complexity laboratories in the subregion. * Serve as a Technical Consultant for contracted hospitals and healthcare facilities. * Assist staff in developing and maintaining spreadsheets for quality metric reporting. * Provide training and support for electronic document control systems, as applicable. * Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, electronic forms, and training materials related to quality processes. * Plan, schedule, and conduct regular internal quality assurance audits and inspections; prepare and distribute audit reports. * Participate in inspections by regulatory and accrediting agencies as needed. * Manage the receipt and processing of laboratory proficiency testing kits * Attend and contribute to monthly Quality meetings. * Support change control processes through to closure. * Perform administrative and clerical duties as required Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or chemical, physical or biological science * Minimum of two years of supervisory laboratory experience in clinical laboratory over non-waived testing * Minimum of 5 years as a generalist Medical Technologist * General knowledge of laboratory regulations (CAP/CLIA) * Familiarity with inspection protocols and regulatory requirements preferred * Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills * Ability to work on-site independently and within a team environment * Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools * Ability to travel monthly to satellite labs in Kansas and Missouri Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind. The Senior Tester will develop/modify, document and execute test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios based upon software requirements definition, in concert with the business process analysis and customer-driven change requests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Apply systems analysis and testing techniques and procedures to ensure software or system functional specifications are correctly identified. - Create test-related work products (test cases/scripts, test datasets, test validation and verification results etc.) per testing standards and procedures. - Prepare any required reporting documentation for the respective testing activities. - Ensure adherence to performance standards and best practices during testing Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess and advise the Test Lead/Manager on the progress of the testing activities. The Tester will also design, develop, and deploy automated tests in a continuous build environment. This will include automated execution, automated result reporting, test data management, and defining standard processes.
