A Day In The Life * Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans based on quality standards, industry regulations, and organizational goals. * Conduct audits of manufacturing processes, product quality, service delivery, and documentation to identify deviations and non-compliance issues. * Collect data through inspections, interviews, document reviews, and sampling techniques. * Analyze audit findings to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement. * Prepare detailed audit reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for corrective actions. * Communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders including management, team leaders, and operational teams. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality notifications (QN) and corrective action reports (CAR) to address identified quality issues. * Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure follow-up to prevent recurrence. * Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement strategies, including process optimization and standard operating procedures. * Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and trend identification. * Facilitate training sessions for employees on quality standards and procedures. * Stay updated on industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices to ensure compliance. * Conduct audits to verify adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. * Proactively identify potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies. * Perform other departmental duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager. We are looking for someone to join our Quality Assurance department as we grow and serve more individuals. Location This position's home office will be located in Tulsa, OK, supporting both the Tulsa and Enid locations. Occasional travel between locations may be required as needed. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance and quality aspects of service delivery. This position assists our Quality Assurance team to ensure Brighter Day is providing the best possible support to those receiving services and consistent, accurate, documentation of those support activities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitor the adherence to current state licensing and certification rules and regulations, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies and procedures. Conduct quality assurance audits, presenting outcomes and recommendations for improvements to management. Manage complaints and risk-related issues, promoting positive, timely resolutions. Make site visits to ensure quality and implementation of IDD services. Ensure that quality and professionalism of all agency programs are maintained. Assist in the production of periodic written reports to review identified needs and/or recommendations for quality assurance. Assist in assessing and developing training curriculum for staff of all levels to ensure delivery of quality services. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with outside agencies to facilitate the appropriate use of program services. Must be highly organized and responsive to immediate needs.
