SciPlay is looking for a detail-obsessed and driven QA Analyst to help uphold the highest standards of quality and reliability on its flagship mobile franchise, Jackpot Party Casino, based in our Cedar Falls, Iowa studio.
This is a fully on-site position in our Cedar Falls, Iowa studio.
This is a demanding role where curiosity, precision, and a strong sense of ownership are essential. You'll be responsible for developing and executing tests on new features, tools, and game content to ensure they meet exacting standard especially around high-impact, revenue-sensitive areas.
This position requires the ability to cut through complexity and ambiguity, identify risks quickly, and bring clarity to fast-moving, often chaotic scenarios. Those who succeed in this role are not just testers, they are investigators, problem-solvers, and stewards of product integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all software is functioning as intended with an exceptional level of detail and accuracy
Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across new and existing game content, tools, and platforms
Document and track issues using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) from discovery through resolution
Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and product managers to identify potential quality risks early
Reproduce and isolate complex issues to support engineering resolution efforts
Generate clear and concise QA documentation, reports, and feedback summaries
Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively suggest process improvements
Own the quality of your assigned areas-functionality, usability, and player experience

2+ years of professional experience in software or game testing
High attention to detail and accountability in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
Demonstrated ability to stay organized, adaptable, and clear-headed during shifting priorities or deadlines
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Xray, TestRail, etc.)
Experience with mobile or web-based games or apps

Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure product consistency, robustness, and scalability.
Support end users during UAT by clarifying issues and validating fixes.

Report test results clearly and provide actionable feedback to development teams to drive continuous improvement.
Help define and maintain QA standards, frameworks, testing strategies for complex projects, and continuous improvements to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.

Support automation adoption and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

To be successful in this role you will need:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
5+ years' relevant experience in software quality assurance, including designing and authoring test cases.
5+ years of experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
5+ relevant financial services industry experience.
2+ years' experience with Postman, Tricentis TTA and Jira.

Summary
Lead the development and execution of complex quality assurance programs that support operational performance and risk mitigation. Collaborate with business leaders to implement innovative solutions, monitor contractual agreements, and drive operational excellence through strategic initiatives and data-driven insights.

The salary for this position generally ranges between $75,000-$90,000. Bonus Eligibility:

Summary
Lead the development and execution of complex quality assurance programs that support operational performance and risk mitigation. Responsibilities

What You Will Do:
Design, create, and integrate the software components of hardware test stations for factory and engineering labs which include:
Work hands on, with test hardware equipment to develop software which tests military communication hardware products during the build and manufacturing process
Analyze and understand requirements to ensure testability
Develop clear and concise test objectives that guide the testing process and ensure comprehensive coverage
Write software for both manual and automated test cases, with an objective to detect manufacturing defects, improve product quality and increase manufacturing yields
Analyze test results for failures and discrepancies
Work closely with other test engineers and product developers to verify product hardware is built correctly
Coordinate and collaborate with Systems, Electrical and Mechanical engineering disciplines
Help manage work across multiple programs
Mentor, lead, and review work for lower-level engineers
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
3+ years experience programming in C# and Python languages
3+ years Experience with manual use or automation of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, digital multimeters, and other equipment
3+ years Experience in validation, verification, testing, and requirements analysis
Prior experience leading and managing projects
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active Secret security clearance
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with SCPI commands, bug tracking, and test management tools
Knowledge of software testing methods (functional, integration, regression, performance)
Proficiency with Git/Subversion, Atlassian tools, and Agile (SAFe) environments
