We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and elevate our Quality Management System (QMS). This is a cornerstone position responsible for ensuring every process, test, and record meets the highest standards of scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities:
Lead and maintain the laboratory's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, NELAC/TNI, CS-LAP, and NLLAP requirements.
Plan and conduct internal audits, track nonconformance, manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and coordinate external audit responses.
Oversee document control, proficiency testing, and quality documentation updates to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Serve as the primary liaison to accrediting and regulatory bodies, managing assessments, audit logistics, and follow-up actions.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement strategies using Lean or Six Sigma principles.
Supervise calibration and verification programs, ensuring all instruments and processes maintain full traceability and validation.
Provide QA training to laboratory personnel, reinforcing a culture of quality, compliance, and accountability across all operations.
Support LIMS integration, QA documentation systems, and quality data analysis to maintain real-time visibility into lab performance.
Collaborate with management and technical leads to proactively prepare for upcoming accreditations and audits.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field; advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred.
Experience: 5-10 years of QA leadership in an accredited testing or calibration laboratory.
Proven expertise in ISO/IEC 17025, internal auditing, nonconformance management, proficiency testing, and CAPA implementation.
Strong familiarity with NELAC/TNI, A2LA, CS-LAP, and NLLAP accreditation frameworks.
Experience in quality statistics, trend analysis, and continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Excellent communication skills - able to write, present, and train effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with LIMS, document control systems, and quality data management tools.
Professional certifications (ASQ CQE, CQA, or similar) are highly desirable.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists in the development and review Quality Assurance procedures & processes.

The Construction Quality Assurance Coordinator is accountable for and as required responsible performing the following:
Review of Contractor Quality Plans ITPs and procedures and ensuring they are as per specifications.

Participate in contractors' kick offs to outline Quality requirements.
Participates in ITP witness and hold point activities as indicated in the approved ITP.

Prepare and submit daily Contractor Production Reports, Quality Control, submittal log.

Certify and sign a statement on each invoice that all work to be paid under the invoice has been completed in accordance with contract requirements.

Enforce project quality control plans and associated standards.
Always maintains presence at the site during progress of the work.
Conduct daily utilization and maintain the Federal Client reporting software.
Lead and document weekly QC meetings with the USACE, Project Manager, and Project Superintendent and provide written minutes as described in project specific contract documents.
Write daily QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively addresses non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner.
Manage, schedule, review, and certify all submittals for client review and approval.
Prepare and track all RFI's and DCVR's for submission to the client and the designer.
Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work.
Verify and documents that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project.
Conduct preconstruction meetings with new and existing subcontractors and the Project Superintendent prior to the start of each new phase of the work to discuss issues that affect quality.
Perform all necessary project inspections needed for compliance with the construction contract.
Schedule, document the results of, and maintain a log of all code and independent inspections that are required.
Document, correct and re-inspect all non-conformances prior to completing the work.
Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to verify that work is proceeding in accordance with the contract documents and the approved submittals.
Perform Punch-out and Pre-final inspections and participate in Final Inspections. Establish list of deficiencies; correct prior to the Final inspection.
Assemble and forward project closeout documents to the Project Manager.
Stop working, if necessary, to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and/or inhibit the logical progress of work.
Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is required; equivalent years of experience, paired with an IBC certification may be considered in lieu of a degree.
At least 5 years working in Construction as a Quality Control Systems Manager or in a closely related position.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant Construction experience overall.
Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification either current or held previously or the ability to obtain QM within 60 days of hire is required.

Performs quality-engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
Integrates the quality assurance program with company global assurance requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Formal training in Quality Management Systems.
A minimum of five (5) years' experience in quality assurance or a directly related role.

Verify that weld numbers, pipe numbers are properly identified and logged on inspection reports.
Verify that welding is performed according to procedures, specifications, codes, & standards.
Maintain daily log of inspection activities.
Manage and Monitor Audits and NCRs until final close\-out of the findings.
Review, Validate and accept Final Quality Data Books received from various Line Pipe, Pipeline and Bend Suppliers.

Overview Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Quality Control & Safety Manager for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4/9 for facilities, engineering and sustainment, and environmental planning and compliance at Fort Greely, Alaska. This QC/Safety Manager position will focus on the project workflow system for base maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other projects. Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, Quality Control (QC), and Safety oversight to ensure contract requirements, objectives, and standards have been achieved in accordance with applicable Statements of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statements (PWS).
Conduct QC audits and assessments to identify, record, and report deficiencies.
Recommend preventative and corrective action efforts, conduct Root Cause and Statistical Analyses and report findings.
Provide technical and/or administrative recommendations to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Reevaluate areas of concern and/or noncompliance to ensure corrective actions have adequately resolved deficiencies.
Establish, collaborate, and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and all stakeholders.
Travel to multiple site locations to identify, evaluate, and resolve safety and quality issues across construction, manufacturing, corporate, and industrial environments.
Conduct detailed site-specific inspections in compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA 1910/1926, and other regulatory standards.
Oversee site subcontractor safety officers and personnel to strengthen safety culture, reduce incidents, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Serve as construction project manager and EHS lead, developing and implementing comprehensive construction safety programs for AHS Development.
Monitor and maintain EHS compliance across all active projects, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and contract requirements.
Oversee contractor safety performance, implementing processes to evaluate compliance, identify risks, and enforce corrective actions.
Manage onsite quality control operations, including inspection procedures, materials validation, and subcontractor workmanship oversight.
Control project budgets, material logistics, and construction timelines to align safety requirements with operational efficiency.
Support marketing and sales efforts by providing safety and quality documentation, project validation, and client-facing expertise.
Develop and deliver employee safety training programs to promote consistent hazard awareness and operational best practices.
Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety standards, reporting accuracy, and overall site performance.
Develop and maintain annual safety plans, annual QASP plans, redline drawings, submittal packages, and project closeout packages to ensure full compliance and accurate project documentation.
Provide project management and safety support to compensate for DPW manpower shortages, ensuring small high-performance contractors receive the guidance.
