Become the Quality/Risk Director you've always aspired to be
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, corporate and hospital policies, and procedures. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assessment and improvement programs.
Assess compliance with federal, state, and industry regulatory and accreditation standards, facilitating processes to remediate and/or maintain compliance. Provide organizational education related to regulations and standards and coordinate local, state, federal, and accreditation surveys.
Use a variety of applications (including, but not limited to, PatCom, UDS, ORYX, and Press Ganey) to identify improvement opportunities, generate reports, research issues, identify resources, and access external databases.
Ensure the update and maintenance of hospital plans, including the Provision of Care/Scope of Services, Leadership, Information Management, Utilization Review, Infection Control, and Patient Safety plans. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and supervise the inspection team in a fast-paced precision CNC machining environment, managing day-to-day operations including in-process, final, and receiving inspections.
· Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards, including developing and updating procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Primarily an office/desk-based role, with frequent visits to the shop floor required to oversee inspections, verify processes with operators/programmers.

Northrop Grumman is in need of a Manager Quality Control 2 based at its Elkton, Maryland facility. The Manager Quality Control 2 is responsible for leading a multidisciplined team of technicians, inspectors, and chemists as well as performing technical duties. Responsible for overseeing the safety of laboratory facilities including maintaining current knowledge of relevant protocols, regulations, standards, and safety procedures as well as developing and maintaining standard operating. This position oversees inventory management such as selecting, purchasing, storing, and allocating laboratory equipment, supplies, and data analysis tools. The candidate requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills combined with a “can do” attitude.
Northrop Grumman Propulsion Systems and Controls (PS&C) facility in Elkton, Maryland began solid-propellant rocket operations in 1948. Today, the Elkton PS&C facility designs, develops, and produces solid-propellant propulsion and ordnance systems in programs professionally managed for a wide variety of Government and commercial customers. The facility also serves as the hub for offsite engineering and test facilities in Ronkonkoma, NY and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar STEM discipline and 8 years related experience, or Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar STEM discipline and 6 years related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a United States DOD Secret Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF Employee Possessor
5+ years of analytical laboratory experience
LIMS & SAP experience
Direct experience working and collaborating across multiple functions
Demonstrated experience developing, growing teams and shaping a performing culture
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Ability to operate and lead in team environments
Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or STEM with 10+ years' experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $127,100.00 - $190,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
