Job Details
The purpose of the Dairy Sanitation Quality Assurance Specialist is to provide strong milk quality technical information to sales and service teams within MICRO as well as to external consultants and dairy customers. The goal being to utilize current and new technology from Micro along with new research in Teat Dips, Udder Health Management and improvements in Parlor Procedures, to monitor, evaluate, and ensure the highest quality of milk is being produced within the ability the customer's facility.
Spending time a customer and potential customer's locations monitoring and evaluating the parlor. Looking for items to improve or replace to achieve the highest quality of milk.
Providing the Dairy Sanitation Service team with results of the audit and list of items for them to fix or replace. Also assist them in their efforts if needs be.
Provide technical sales and support for dairy Sanitation Sales and Service teams. Provide clear guidance to both sales and service team members on solutions and needs.
Provide consultants with information regarding the value and technical benefits of the Micro Milk Quality management program, including: Pro Control Blender, Pro Control Parlor, Dairy Chemical Mixer, and other technologies as available.
Establish contacts and build strong relationships with dairy consultants who are involved with influencing the use of the Micro's Milk Quality management program.
Focus on the application of Micro's Milk Quality to different milking procedures and detail the opportunities and flexibilities of utilizing our technology to improve performance.
Furnish customer/Service team support for Milk Quality program implementation and continued performance.
Coordinate comprehensive technical training and support for both Micro employees and dairy customers.
Interact with leadership, sales and operation teams to assist in reaching business growth goals.
Work with dairy customers to implement new products and/or investigate uses for existing products within the Micro Milk Quality management program.
Utilize experience in dairy Sanitation to assist Dairy Sanitation Service Team and dairy customers in the use of Micro's Sanitation products.
Present technical information to sales & operation teams to increase Company knowledge of opportunities in dairies.
Troubleshoot issues with Milk Quality at the customer's location.
Deliver information to the Leadership team on any new opportunities for Dairy Sanitation use in dairies.
Provide knowledge / training for PDSR team on similarities/ differences of various Dairy Sanitation products.
Develop and oversee training programs and technical presentations for Dairy Sanitation Service and Sales teams, dairy customers, consultants and internal teams.
Educate PDSR team on Dairy Sanitation product use by detailing their application and the resulting value for the customer.
Work closely with the Dairy Sanitation Service and Dairy Install teams to identify, evaluate, and implement new Dairy Sanitation products for dairy customers.
Educate dairy PDSR/OSR teams on basic dairy Sanitation concepts.
Develop and monitor dairy specific KPI's for the evaluation and improvement of technologies and programs
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in Dairy Sanitation/Milk Quality specifically in the dairy industry.
Education:
Associates degree preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong communication skills.
Experience needed to assess Milking equipment systems at the dairy.
Ability to organize / Train/Communicate a team approach to understanding goals and execute on plan.
Broad knowledge of Dairy Sanitation products for dairies and a strong understanding of Milk Quality troubleshooting.
Proven sales experience in the dairy industry
Bilingual a plus, but not mandatory

Stantec is seeking a safety-focused leader with field experience (preferably in construction) to supervise construction quality assurance (CQA) at a mine reclamation project in northern New Mexico beginning January 2026. This person will work onsite daily, directing a team that verifies that construction meets design specifications while working alongside the client and various contractors. This is a full-time onsite role with a minimum 2-year commitment, with potential to extend beyond. Qualified candidates will have relevant field experience and a degree in engineering or geology; an associate's degree with strong surveying skills; a professional surveying license; or comparable, relevant work experience meeting job requirements. This role includes leadership, daily interaction with a great client, and seeing years of geotechnical engineering and mine reclamation design fully implemented.
Potential compensation is excellent, with employees regularly receiving 10 or more hours of overtime per week in addition to a housing allowance, meal per diem, and use of a company provided vehicle, all while living and working near picturesque Taos, New Mexico, which is known for its skiing, biking, hiking, fishing and rafting opportunities.
This position will be expected to identify problems, deficiencies, and design deviations, and develop potential courses of action to address these issues, while communicating and articulating them to the client, construction contractor, and Stantec leadership. Strong leadership of the Stantec CQA field team is essential to the success of this position and will involve delegation of tasks based upon the skills of team-members, clear communication, and attention to detail. Stantec is seeking a safety-focused leader with field experience (preferably in construction) to supervise construction quality assurance (CQA) at a mine reclamation project in northern New Mexico beginning January 2026. This person will work onsite daily, directing a team that verifies that construction meets design specifications while working alongside the client and various contractors. This is a full-time onsite role with a minimum 2-year commitment, with potential to extend beyond. Qualified candidates will have relevant field experience and a degree in engineering or geology; an associate's degree with strong surveying skills; a professional surveying license; or comparable, relevant work experience meeting job requirements. This role includes leadership, daily interaction with a great client, and seeing years of geotechnical engineering and mine reclamation design fully implemented.
Potential compensation is excellent, with employees regularly receiving 10 or more hours of overtime per week in addition to a housing allowance, meal per diem, and use of a company provided vehicle, all while living and working near picturesque Taos, New Mexico, which is known for its skiing, biking, hiking, fishing and rafting opportunities.
This position will be expected to identify problems, deficiencies, and design deviations, and develop potential courses of action to address these issues, while communicating and articulating them to the client, construction contractor, and Stantec leadership. Monitors plant operations of compliance with regulatory and company requirements in the Harvest Dept. QA will be responsible for paperwork he/she is assigned. Tech will monitor area from pre-wash up until gut table. They will assure that tags are in place where is needed (black, red, yellow tags). At each break, they will change out SRM sterilizers and make sure that any contact area is cleaned at each break. Tech will also check equipment after each break. Acts as liaison to USDA regulators.

Calibration of thermometers and scales on a daily basis.
Monitor sanitation standard operating procedures and document SSOP's in accordance with the companies program.

Taking raw and finished product temperatures.

Perform HACCP monitoring and verification for all critical control points of the company's HACCP programs.
Working alongside USDA and production employees.

The Quality Control Engineer (QCE) is responsible for performing many of the quality control tasks at the project level as defined in the quality control plan for the project. The QC engineer is typically assigned to a single project but may be required to support multiple smaller projects, when necessary. This is a safety sensitive position.
Position Qualifications:
* A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management.

* A valid Driver's License.

* Maintain records that identify areas inspected, tests performed and any significant findings. Initiate deficiency reports and track their resolution to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
* Work closely with trade partner quality control personnel to understand their QC procedures. Review the trade partner's quality control logs and ensure corrective actions are implemented, when required.
* Assist with the coordination and scheduling of third-party testing and source inspections. Interface with third party testing agencies, as necessary.
