Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for following and conducting robust Food Safety & Quality systems and programs; audits and checks, the FSQA Specialist will report to the FSQA Manager and work with them as a team to ensure NuProduce Solutions is meeting or exceeding internal standards, customer's expectation and government compliance requirements.

Essential Functions:
Develops, maintains and communicates policies, procedures and work instructions for food safety activities performed in all wholesale and retail Stores.
Collaborates with the Store Learning and Development Team and/or Food Safety and Quality Analyst to establish and execute food safety training and culture materials.
Conducts internal food safety assessments and on-site visits, as needed, in collaboration with local and regional leadership team member(s), to offer support in establishing and maintaining compliance to regulatory, customer, and internal food safety expectations.
Supports Stores during food safety and quality investigations that may result from regulatory visits, process breakdowns,
