We are seeking to hire a **Quality Analyst** . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the QA program and processes. Review and provide feedback to the Government on the documents and deliverables ensuring that quality assurance requirements adhere to the best commercial practices and are in compliance with the applicable DoD/NSA standards. Establish and manage quality control standards to ensure professional, accurate, complete, and timely review and delivery of SE documentation.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

Eight (8) years experience in conducting quality assurance of systems and software processes on contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience in government systems and software engineering evaluation, including formal and informal audits and technical reviews, is required.

A Bachelor s degree may substitute for four (4) years of work experience.

Shall also possess the following capabilities:

+ Define, review, propose and develop process improvements for the SE Document Review and Preparation process

+ Perform Data Quality analysis of deliverables and documents.

+ Establish and maintain a process for evaluating system and software to include associated documentation

+ Monitor the level of quality throughout the system and software life cycle.

Position Purpose: Position is responsible for assuring the consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good printing, proofing and production processes. Ensures and addresses any problems with the product is released, such as a misspelling or unintended messages. Responsible for monitoring, reviewing, routing and escalating requests.
Essential Functions:

Coordinates and facilitates printing requests from internal business customers.

Defines estimated completion dates required for all the printing and mailing of materials.

Tracks, maintains and provides status on print requests and notify management when dates are in jeopardy.

Proofs print requests, validates quality and coordinates with the print room and internal business customers to ensure accuracy and correctness.

Validates quality processes by establishing specifications and quality attributes, and writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

Participate in the planning and estimation of print requests in coordination with the print room.

Monitors the queue for new submissions and routes new requests to the appropriate department and/or queue.

Escalates issues logged in with the appropriate sense of urgency.

Identifies requests that may need assistance moving through the defined stages of workflow.

Assists other departments as needed with the creation of work requests.

Works with members of other departments to facilitate the routing, review, approval and continued operation of work through the system.

Identifies and implements process improvements to streamline print requests and other types of requests.

Recommends and communicates new solutions to solving existing problems.

Captures and reports to leadership detail and summary information that is needed to monitor the effectiveness of quality assurance procedures.

Quality Assurance/Continuous Improvement Specialist (ID: 2202834)


Facilitate Continuous Improvement YB/GB projects at the Chattanooga Site.


Identify & select continuous improvement projects, set targets and track results. Support Lean Six Sigma training programs.


Lead/support continuous improvement workshops and kaizen events.


Provide process improvement and variation reduction expertise (product/process capability) as required.


Drive successful LSS project sustainability and implementation of the four-year OpEx plan/roadmap. Lead key improvement projects for optimization and quality improvements to support site in meeting KPIs (ie capacity and FTQ). Lead improvements to reduce site internal NCM count.


Plant Optimization: Provide process improvement support towards efforts to improve plant productivity and product quality. Support plant Quality and Continuous Improvement strategies to plant processes.


ERP Exposure Reduction Process, Management Support: Assist plant leads with planning, scheduling, coordinate Chattanooga Site ERP activities as needed. Help drive a common corporate safety culture; be visible.


Generate interest and enthusiasm for process activities.


Ensure ERP information is being effectively communicated. Works under the collaborative direction and supervision of the Quality CI Manager.


Knowledge and Experience


The successful candidate for this position should have the following skills and experience:


BS Degree in Chemistry or Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering


1 years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.


Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint required. SAP skills are preferred.


Must be able to work under limited supervision, primarily guided by specific assignment objectives.


Possess strong analytical and mechanical aptitude skills, and excellent individual and team skills


Must possess interpersonal communication skills working and collaborating successfully with other functions (Process Technicians, Engineering/Maintenance/Technicians/Contractors)
