Purpose
The QA Technologist provides operational support and drives quality initiatives within the Euclid Consumable Division. The QA Technologist will manage warranty systems, review customer warranties, enhance the non-conformance process, and implement corrective action requests.
Long Description
Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues across Consumable products.

Establish and support training programs for QA technicians.
Support and continuously improve the Non-Conformance system.
Manage customer-facing issues through the Warranty System.
Issue and maintain stop-ship actions, and drive improvements to the stop-ship process.
Leverage data from quality systems to enhance visibility, streamline actions, identify trends, and improve overall quality performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Methods, Plant Engineering, R&D, and Specials to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Support certification reviews and approvals.
Assist in developing and maintaining quality process control methodologies.
Utilize computers, databases, and software tools associated with the Quality Program.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years (Level I Technician) of related experience (5+ years preferred Level III Technician)
Preferred knowledge of welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What You Will Do
The QA Technician will support various functions and activities to include covering internal ISO audits as well as other external bodies such as NIOSH. In addition, you will:

• Guide, support and answer third party quality audits and surveys including all required correspondence
• Perform work center, finished product and process audits, as required
• Review, understand, and follow the departmental procedures, Work Instructions Specifications and Plant Rules and Regulations that are associated with the performance of this job

Education & Experience Requirements

Position Overview
The Specialist I, Quality Assurance performs routine activities associated with manufacturing of cell and gene therapy products at the Abeona Therapeutics Inc. site in Cleveland, OH. This position supports the maintenance of the quality systems in support of a cGMP Operation for Manufacturing logistics processes relating to Abeona Manufactured Media batch record review and release from start to end of manufacturing activities, in-process sampling / testing, autoclave, and document management ensuring procedural and regulatory compliance throughout the manufacturing process. The Specialist I, Quality Assurance will report to the Associate Manager, Quality Assurance or above and will support manufacturing and quality control as the production area Quality Assurance representative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Position is on a Day Shift with occasional weekends (as needed).
Process document control requests and issue-controlled forms, logbooks, notebooks, master production records, labels, and protocols.
Reconcile issued controlled forms, logbooks, notebooks, master production records, and protocols.
Coordinate and facilitate QA-related production and production-related activities.
Review batch-related documentation and ensure resolution of issues to release product.
Ensure that products are manufactured in compliance with site procedures, regulatory and cGMP guidelines.
Compile and verify all batch-related documents into a final product lot disposition package.
Communicate lot disposition pending issues to management.

Monitor aged trailing documents in an active pipeline.
Perform follow-ups with settlement companies and attorneys' offices to obtain aged missing documents outstanding for delivery to the Investors.
Obtain Certified True Copies of Mortgage/Deed of Trust from County Recorder Offices and/or final Title Policy copies from settlement agents or attorney's offices when determined that the document has been lost or aged.
Prepare Scrivener's Affidavits and assignments as needed and have signed by the Executive Team for recording.
Monitor and answer general questions being received in the Final Docs Team e-mail box.
Perform weekly reviews of trailing documents received that were not sold to an investor at time of receipt to determine if an Investor has been assigned for delivery of the trailing documents received.
Work with Investors, Internal departments, and settlement/attorney offices to cure defects found in the Mortgage/Deed of Trust or Final Title Policy including re-recording if needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of residential mortgage experience.
Experience with Mortgage Loan documents and title work, preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of Ellie Mae Encompass 360.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs.
