Responsibilities MSTS is currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist II in support of ongoing Quality programs, projects, and activities at the Nevada National Security Site and the North Las Vegas facility. Key Responsibilities Conduct studies and make recommendations in response to potential or actual quality problems, and to the Quality Assurance Program. Provide assistance to other quality assurance professionals in the development and implementation of methods for promoting quality assurance. Provide instruction and/or material to assist field personnel in quality assurance matters. Perform surveillances of operations to determine compliance with codes. Ensure timely and orderly completion of inspections, assessments, and reports. Assists in quality training activities. Review material and equipment requisitions for adherence to quality standards and codes. Provides QA related support to the continuing development, maintenance, implementation, and institutionalization of the company's Quality Assurance Program. Recommend actions related to non-compliance and follow through to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Maintain awareness of current additions or revisions to quality standards and procedures and apply them to work responsibilities as required. Conducts research, data compilation, and data analysis. Executes work in a disciplined manner to demonstrate compliance with laws, codes, orders, and MSTS policies and procedures. Recommends solutions for a range of complex problems and issues. Perform duties relating to independent verification and receiving inspection of procured Quality materials for line organizations. Generates non-conformance reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions. Bachelor's degree in a Technical field related to the position or equivalent training and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Ability to implement quality and safety programs in a fast paced technical environment. Ability to support quality or safety procedure and process development and a background in supply chain activities are desirable. Should have an understanding working knowledge of DOE authorization basis and nuclear safety requirements. Must have demonstrated leadership qualities, the ability to work under minimal supervision, ability to multi-task; and be highly organized to guide a quality and safety team through a fast paced, changing, technical work environment. Should possess advanced computer skills necessary to navigate through the corporate software suite. Must have demonstrated technical writing ability to compose clear technical correspondence, reports, and other internal communication. Must be able to utilize independent judgment, creativity, initiative, and ability within area of control to apply knowledge and experience to resolve problems and accomplish goals where established procedures may not exist. Must possess excellent interpersonal and teaming skills and the ability to deal with people in a tactful, professional, and effective manner while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to direct a team in the performance of organizational support for quality and safety. Must be able to prioritize and schedule multiple activities and work assignments. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all types of people in a tactful, professional, and effective manner while screening and maintaining confidentiality. High degree of accuracy required in writing technical documents and ensuring Company policies and procedures are implemented. The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Work schedule for this position will be 4/10's, Monday - Thursday (subject to change). Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Must possess a valid driver's license. The person in this role works closely with the Software Engineering teams to understand what has been developed. They also work closely with the solutions and product teams to ensure business requirements are being tested. This role is critical to the successful delivery of PSI's services and the quality of its products. This role adds significant value to the operation of PSI's Credentialing business, as this work is crucial for supporting our customers first-hand with a quality service and maintaining our people-focused brand. + This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability Monday to Friday. The role can be performed remotely, working across time zones, with occasional travel required for meetings, events and workshops. **Role Responsibilities** + Responsible for managing and executing end-to-end testing for key technology platforms and be accountable for test projects. + Use principles, guidelines, and best practices as defined, and document testing plans. + Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders. + Closely work with product teams to understand requirements and other performance SLAs. + Reviewing and analysing feature requirements exit criteria and design test scenarios. + Perform various types of testing, including but not limited to the following: Functional, Regression, integration, backend data validation, usability, end to end system testing, API testing, performance/stress testing and ensure bug-free applications go to production. + Writing, executing, and managing the manual test cases. + Identify, validate, communicate, and track to closure defects and risks to the development team(s) and clearly communicate testing status and QA roadblocks to the QA manager and Product Managers. Interacts closely with members of cross-functional project team including Development, PMs, and Client Services. + Provide the UAT support for business users as well as client. + Reporting defects accurately and managing to successful resolution via Jira. + Maintaining and creating product knowledge documentation. + Investigate and attempt to diagnose customer support reported defects. + Participate in sprint planning, scrum, and backlog grooming ceremonies. + Researching and embrace new techniques and technology to improve testing + Strong SQL skills to validate data from multiple sources like Files, XMLs, Databases. **Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements** + 3 years' experience in progressively responsible information technology. + Proven experience and knowledge of QA methods, standards and processes, e.g. Agile / SDLC. + Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods. + Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and with automation testing technologies. + Experience with version management and ticketing systems, e.g. SVN, Jira. + Experience with RDBMS and SQL, ISTQB principles, testing and debugging in multiple browsers/OS, and experience with API testing tools such as Post-Man or Soup UI. + Experience with accessibility testing is huge plus. + Experience with QA automation tools, test automation frameworks, writing and executing the automation scripts with Selenium WebDriver in JAVA or C# is preferable but not essential. **Benefits & Culture** At PSI, our culture is to be transparent and fair. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Gives recommendation in improvement of quality control and assurance. Conduct all monitoring activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications. Assists in enforcing compliance with company GMP guidelines on the line. Reports/Document all food safety, sanitation and quality issues and deviations to management. Perform Daily Operation and Sanitation Inspections per shift as delegated. Perform Air Quality Tests as delegated. Perform High Pressure Air Quality Tests as delegated. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices requirements to ensure food safety, safe work practices DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Prepare needed paperwork at start-up · Grade Product by conducts in-line inspection audit on finished products and packaging · Conduct inspection of machine performance in production lines, as per QA manual and procedures. · Ensures proper documentation and frequency of inspection. · Collect and manage samples for testing and Quality Keeping samples - including “plug” sampling as needed and retain sample. · Collect and manage customer requested samples. · Complete required DV/return tasks to include inspection, counting and placing in on hold. · Assist in the Sample Retain Program testing. · Maintain Retention area in a clean and organized condition · Monitor QA Hold area to ensure locked · Informs of discrepancies and assists in assessment of corrective actions. · Works closely with all departments on quality issues. · Monitors product and in-feed raw material rejects · Perform Daily Temperature Monitoring per shift as delegated · Complete Hold Tags as need and correctly (Orange and Red). · Print Put Away sheets for file and compile Hold Tags to review · Assist Pre-Op and ATP sanitation assessment for lines prior to start-up, and the Environment Monitoring Program. · Ensures quality assessment tools are in optimal performance and calibrated as schedule. · Check utensils in/out and document appropriately · Performs cross training for other positions in the department. · Attends all department and company required trainings · Maintain grading area on production floor and lab in a clean and orderly condition · Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS/WORK CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a warehouse/production type atmosphere where the temperature is as low as 32 degrees (typically 45-55 degrees). Noise level in production environment may require the use of hearing protection. Requires standing for long period of time frequently twisting, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting material up to 50lbs.
