Monitor & evaluate product quality. * Quality Control: Conduct Quality Control (QC) to confirm the product meets the customer's needs, specifications and expectations before the product is shipped. * PT: Conduct Penetrant Testing to detect any surface defects by using penetrating liquids & dyes. * MT: Conduct Magnetic Particle Testing to detect surface & shallow subsurface defects in materials made from iron, cobalt, & associated alloys. * UT: Conduct Ultrasonic Testing to detect common or uncommon defects caused by processing & fabrication such as shrinkage cracks, stringers, hydrogen flakes, & incomplete fusion/penetration. * NDE: Conduct Nondestructive Examination to inspect for flaws & defects in tube & pipe, bar, rod, & parts produced. * Weld Test: Review Procedure Qualifications Report (PQR) to ensure Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) are correct and appropriate. * RT: Conduct Radiographic Testing to identify any defects that can cause welds to fail. * Weld and Fitment QA: Conduct QA/QC on welds produced to ensure sound reliable welds and minimize rework. * CAR: Complete Corrective Action Report to document deficiencies discovered during testing/inspection; impact on operations; & actions to take to prevent future occurrence. Title: Quality Assurance Specialist Program/Department: Parents as Teachers Classification: Exempt, Full-Time This is a professional Parent Educator position with a specialized focus on oversight of the program's quality assurance. This requires adherence to the Parents as Teachers National Office Essential Requirements and Blue-Ribbon Affiliate Quality Standards, Council on Accreditation Standards, and funding requirements. As a specialist, you will review electrical system designs of large-scale projects for code compliance and constructability issues. position details/responsibilities… With design direction, support and guidance from all team members, review drawings to ensure quality and constructability. Coordinate the best design solutions for electrical systems by applying industry knowledge and quality standards. Applying code knowledge to power and lighting systems. May include some telecom and fire alarm review. More advanced reviews may include photometric studies, short circuit analysis and voltage drop calculations. Cardinal Health Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Manufacturing Services is responsible for manufacturing PET radiopharmaceuticals to enhance patient treatment through improved disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring. Responsibilities Handles cGMP documentation review related to product release, facilities and equipment, material controls, laboratory controls, packaging and labeling, and production & process controls. Establishes and reports metrics related products and processes as deemed necessary by the Regional Quality Manager (RQM). Ensures the site manufactures products to meet the requirements of 21 CFR 212 (cGMP). Handles and ensures quality of documentation (control, retention, and archival) to support cGMP activities. Engages and collaborates with operations department to drive quality system and cGMP requirements. Performs product release activities per cGMP requirements. Reports quality system issues to the RQM and others as necessary. This includes timely escalation of discrepancies upon identification. Schedule Onsite in Tampa, FL 40 hours per week. This is a night position. Typically, Monday - Friday 1:00 am - 9:30 am and every other Sunday per month. Sunday shift is typically a few hours. Work hours may be subject to change. Position may require approximately 25% travel to provide QA coverage when needed. Work Environment The primary work environment consists of a manufacturing pharmacy which must be kept clean, orderly, properly lighted and maintained in optimum operating condition. Employees handle radioactive materials and are exposed to very low amounts of radiation that are deemed safe by current standards. The facility is operated under well-controlled and closely monitored conditions that are regulated by both State and Federal agencies, and that are enforced by the corporate internal quality and regulatory group. Each staff member will receive specific training in keeping radiation exposures within regulatory guidelines and he/she will be routinely monitored for their exposure to radiation. Noise levels are considered low to moderate.
