Job Description The QA Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and improvement of quality assurance programs associated with FDA and FSMA regulations for assuring consistent manufacturing quality and food safety by implementing current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), providing documentation, managing QA team and supporting the QA department in maintaining a culture of Quality within the manufacturing areas. Summary The Quality Control Specialist assists in essential responsibilities of the inventory department and ensures state compliance and Planet 13 standards are met by performing daily audits of inventory; tracking and reconciliation of product; accounting and reporting of inventory surplus and deficits complying with all State, Local, and Company requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Participate in perpetual inventory cycle counting and inventory accuracy checks. • Complete inventory procedures using electronic tracking system (ETS) and respond to any discrepancies by notifying management and investigating reasons for the discrepancy. • Review inventory in POS and METRC systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Responsible for the settlement of inventory discrepancies and reporting the resolution of such discrepancies. • Maintains compliance with METRC, ensures METRC inventory is up to date with POS system. • Participate in Quarterly/Yearly Audits. • Comply with inventory control procedures. • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure. • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
