Job DescriptionCylinder Quality Assurance Technician Step into a hands-on quality role where your measurements, observations, and judgment keep people safe. As a Cylinder Quality Assurance Technician at Worthington Enterprises, you'll conduct regulatory and customer-specific testing on high-pressure cylinders and document every result with precision. A day in the role You start your shift by preparing the lab: verifying calibrations, reviewing test plans, and setting up equipment. Over the course of the day, you: Perform internal testing, internal checks, and cosmetic inspections on various cylinder types and sizes. Run burst, volumetric, and proof tests to confirm integrity and compliance. Carry out titrations and calibrations, ensuring instruments are accurate. Complete all lab work and paperwork with thorough, traceable records. Operate the real-time x-ray booth (where applicable) to evaluate internal features. Obtain samples using a band saw or plasma torch; prepare bend test, macro sample, and tensile specimens with a belt sander. Assist with other duties as assigned, collaborating with production and quality teammates. Schedule Must be flexible for assigned shift. This is an off shift role. Shifts: 2nd shift - 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday through Friday). What we offer Competitive Pay: Starting at $20/hour, plus a $1.50/hour night shift differential. Sign-on Bonus: $1,500 paid as $500 after 100 days (and successful completion of your probationary period) and $1,000 after 180 days or 6 months. The Micro Lab Technician provides microbiological and wet chemistry testing support to the operations of the facility. Perform quality chemical analysis on samples for: fat, solids, acidity, pH, etc. Complete bacterial analysis on samples. Procure samples from various process points: raw silos, product silos, univats, production lines, etc. Confirm proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Properly document all quality checks and tagging of approved tanks. Conduct ATP / Allergen testing as required. Review Mix standardization calculations, product flavor / color analysis. Generate and maintain formulation information for daily mixes including formulation usage information, raw silo test results, and other data entry as required. Record Mix standardization calculations and conduct color mixing / weighing of selected raw materials. Ensure isolation of suspect product via hold notices and communicate concerns with product quality to production and quality management. In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity. Purpose of Role The Engineering Technician plays a critical hands-on role in supporting the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This position focuses on improving safety, increasing process efficiency, and deploying automation technologies. Engineering Technicians work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Safety teams to drive reliable, efficient, and innovative manufacturing processes. What You ll Do: Bring automation to life Install, optimize, and troubleshoot robotic and automated systems to keep production running at its best. Lead changeovers with speed and precision Make product transitions seamless through efficient automation adjustments. Innovate on the floor Design and build robotic end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), automation work cells, and more. Champion safety Partner with safety teams to lead improvement projects and create a safe, proactive work environment. Own your projects Manage small-to-mid scale technical initiatives from concept to completion while balancing daily operational needs. Drive continuous improvement Reduce downtime, speed up changeovers, and advance our automation capabilities.
