POSITION SUMMARY
TheatreSquared seeks a Production Technician to join its Production Department in a hands-on, collaborative role supporting lighting, sound, and run crews across productions and events. Production Technicians play a vital role in bringing each production to life and maintaining the systems that support a busy, year-round producing theatre.
Between productions, this position contributes to organizational, maintenance, and repair projects and may work collaboratively with other TheatreSquared departments, including Events, Facilities, Company Management, and Community Experience. As a key artist and team member, the Production Technician helps TheatreSquared create work that challenges audiences, fosters empathy, and strengthens an inclusive and equitable community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Performance Support
Participate in lighting, audio, and video plot hangs and focus sessions.
Assist with preshow checks including lighting, audio, video, systems automation systems.
Set up and operate video systems for monitoring, projections, and streaming as needed.
Join run crews for productions, rehearsals, and special events.
Assist in setting up and striking tech tables, running lights, and cue lights during technical rehearsals.
Support cue programming during technical rehearsals.
Attend technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals, previews, and performances as assigned.
Maintenance & Technical Support
Assist in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of Production Department equipment.
Support work in other production areas as needed, including scenery, costumes, and props.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and healthy shop and work environment.
Professional Conduct & Collaboration
Uphold all policies and procedures outlined in TheatreSquared's Employee Handbook.
Professionally represent TheatreSquared when working with visiting artists, patrons, and rental clients.
Work collaboratively across departments to support the overall success of productions and events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in theatrical lighting and audio
Previous experience on theatrical run crews
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working at height (from ladders, personnel lifts, catwalks, etc)
Ability to lift up to 35lbs independently. Ability to repeatedly lift, push, or maneuver up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation is commensurate with experience. This is a non-exempt, full-time position, with an hourly rate ranging from $17 to $21 per hour. This position is a season-based engagement with the possibility of renewal. The current TheatreSquared season is scheduled to conclude in July, 2026.
Full-time benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, paid parental leave, professional development support, employer-sponsored short-term disability, $25,000 in employer-sponsored term life insurance, and a voluntary 401(k) plan.

The incumbent, under the supervisor of the Laboratory Supervisor and direction of the Laboratory Analysts, is responsible for the collection and analyses of samples from various facilities in the City of Fort Smith including Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Water Distribution System, Landfill, Watershed Management Program, and Pretreatment Program for the purpose of process control and determining compliance with local, State and Federal Regulations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Note: All City of Fort Smith positions require the employee to provide good customer service to both internal and external customers, maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees, and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive. Must show cooperation and respect to fellow employees and supervisors at all times.
1. Analyze water and wastewater samples in the City's Laboratory.
2. Collect samples from the City's Wastewater Treatment Plants as required for local, State, and Federal Regulations and departmental studies.
3. Prepare media, reagents and materials for analysis, sample collections and transfer.
4. Analyze proficiency samples as part of the ongoing QA/QC program.
5. 6. Correlate and interpret results of analyses.
7. Compile results and log results into a computer database.

9. Maintain a clean working environment.
10. Maintain good Quality Assurance practices to insure validity of analytical results.

Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Cath Lab Rads should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
Must have 1 year of experience. The Cath Lab Rad must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state specific licensing when required.

Physical Requirements:
