ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. * Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods. * Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals. * Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations to management. * Audit compliance with GMP policies. * Performs process inspections during molding, packaging and loading. * Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters. * Perform incoming inspection of raw materials. * Complete dimensional checks and report on product. * Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading. * Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required. * Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders. * Other duties as assigned by management. * Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. Pay Rate: $28/hour Overview: As a Laboratory Technician, you'll conduct routine and non-routine analyses on product samples, make quality decisions, and communicate results across departments while operating and maintaining lab equipment, supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Schedule: Night Shift, rotating schedule Responsibilities: Conducts routine and non-routine laboratory analyses on product samples to ensure quality standards are met. Operates, calibrates, and troubleshoots a variety of laboratory instruments and equipment. Accurately enters testing data and makes accept/reject decisions based on pre-established specifications. Communicates laboratory results and feedback to managers and other departments as needed. Operate basic lab equipment including balance, micropipettes, desiccators, burettes, and pH meters. Operate and troubleshoot intermediate and advanced instruments including UV/Vis spectrophotometer, auto-titrator, GC, ICP, TOC analyzer. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with 1+ years of professional laboratory experience OR Associates degree in Chemistry with 2+ years of professional laboratory experience. Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation by working shift work and overtime. This does include graveyard shift and a rotating shift schedule. Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on laboratory equipment.
