This position is for a Sr Quality Assurance Technician who works under immediate supervision. Assists with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures. Assists with quality analyses and inspections. Assists with the preparation of Quality Assurance materials.
Seeking qualified individuals experienced with quality control methods and techniques including First article, in-process, and final assembly inspections; quality assurance provisions of special processes, destructive and nondestructive inspections; manufacturing processes; airworthiness
assurance; developing/implementing quality control systems/procedures; testing procedures; and use of FAA-approved type design data. Applicant's must possess airworthiness and manufacturing knowledge, skills, and abilities and maintain the highest degree of objectivity while performing authorized functions on behalf of the FAA.
What You Will Do:
Maintains quality data records, compiles information, and prepares reports for internal and external customers.
Performs preliminary review and Material Review Board analysis and disposition of nonconforming material.
Provides support to manufacturing operations in the review of products and of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Performs product audits in accordance with Rockwell Collins/customer/industry standards, reports results, assigns and monitors follow-up actions.
Performs duties required by the Quality Management System.
Applies quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with Rockwell Collins and contractual requirements
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
A minimum of 3 years Collins inspection experience.

What you'll do
The Production Technician Trainee are responsible for the production of quality, formulated products in a safe and efficient manner. They use knowledge of products, raw materials, and operating procedures to control equipment that processes substances into specified products.
Key Tasks:
Responsible for the safe operation of chemical processing equipment;
Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
Stages raw and finished materials;

Takes required samples during production process;

Responsible for handling waste and other contaminated trash per SOP, following RCRA hazardous waste regulations, waste determinations, waste codes, and immediately communicates discovery of spills and leaks;
Responsible for labeling, inspection, and recordkeeping requirements to accumulate waste in satellite accumulation areas, containers, and tanks;
Operates forklifts;
Operates shuttle wagon and radio communication during rail.

Job Summary & Scope: We are currently seeking a talented individual to be a Production Technician in Muscatine, IA. The production technician will be responsible for a safe, reliable, and efficient operating of Cryogenic Air Separation plants. Start, stop, and operate production processes and makes appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align to the specified norm.

Must display natural or corrected vision of 20/22 with both eyes and normal color perception. Must be capable of reading a minimum of Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches on a standard Jaeger test chart.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs duties associated with Quality (including but not limited to): (50%)
Reviews operational records in association with tasks trained and assigned to ensure they are complete, accurate and compliant with cGMP requirements.
Tracks deviations in operating procedures and policies through established mechanisms. Reports error, deficiencies, discrepancies and observations to center management and Quality Management Representative (QMR).
Conducts monthly quality assurance audits for critical control points and key elements for the systems related to donor suitability, source plasma collection, sample collection, plasma storage, product release, quality assurance, and employee training program.
Ensures SOP's are current and that staff perform routine tasks according to SOP through direct observation.
In the absence of a QMR, works in collaboration with the management team to prepare for and host (if needed) internal auditors and external inspectors. Assists center management teams to ensure timely closure of observations.
Maintain qualifications and perform all duties (core and elective) for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. Train new and existing staff on donor center procedures through demonstration, instruction, observation, and feedback. (30%)
Provide leadership and training assistance in support of center management and supervisory team, including oversight of operational flow. (10%)
Maintain certification and perform all required duties of Lead Technician. (10%)

Ensure all parts and components are accurate according to specifications.

Evaluate returned goods and complete analysis reports (RGA) in a timely manner.
Use and understand various paperwork, including but not limited to schedules, prints, & tech standards.
Assist with selection, tracking and calibration of gages and measuring equipment. Assist with development and implementation of new and revised measurement systems.
Use advanced measurement devices to provide data for manufacturing and engineering when required.
Maintain accurate data and records in correct file locations and databases. Provide necessary reports to supervisors and management.
Create, review and update work instructions, procedures, and other quality documents.
Use proficient computer skills employing Microsoft Word, Excel, and be able to learn other special software as required to complete assigned responsibilities.
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance on equipment.
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments within the work area.
