Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
•Follow and comply with applicable regulatory standards (State Health Dept., FDA, USDA, etc.)
•Monitor cleaning records and frequencies
•Develop and implement food safety programs related to production
•Follow-up on customer complaints and correspond with production and sales related to complaints

•Ensures product integrity through inspections and testing.
•Be aware of and report non-compliance with GMP's and federal regulations regarding handling of products, proper clothing and hand washing rules.
•Be vigilant to prevent actions leading to injuries or accidents. Report any safety violations.
•Monitors labeling of finished product shipping bins to assure correct shipping of products for further processing.
•Other duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and internal quality standards in printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing. This position has a strong focus on process audits, ESD compliance auditing, and initial investigation of material and process issues. The Quality Technician documents findings and reports directly to the Quality Engineer, supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
Major responsibilities:
Perform process audits across PCBA manufacturing operations to verify compliance with work instructions, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) audits to ensure personnel, workstations, and equipment meet established ESD controls.
Perform initial investigations of material issues or process issues identified during production, including defect containment, data collection, and communication of findings.
Document and communicate inspection, audit, and investigation results, and report findings to the Quality Engineer for review and action.
Carry out in-process, first article, and final inspections of PCBs to verify compliance with IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and customer requirements.

Conduct sampling and testing of hardened concrete specimens for compressive strength, density, and durability.
Document and record test results accurately and maintain detailed records of all testing activities.
Monitor production processes and adjust mix designs as necessary to meet quality standards.
Work with production and quality control teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize mix designs.
Comply with safety protocols and quality control procedures at all times

Ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate them effectively

Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and lift/move heavy materials as needed.
Ability to perform basic math functions by memory.

Qualifications
Qualifications include:
One year experience as a concrete field testing technician, or a similar role in the construction industry
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training, certification in concrete technology, or ACI certification is preferred.
Knowledge of concrete testing methods, equipment, and relevant ASTM/ACI standards.
