Job Description
The Technician - Quality Assurance will be responsible for testing our finished product as well as specific packaging attributes as described by our Parent Company to ensure that our finished products meet required specifications.
What your day will look like:
* Perform beverage attribute testing to include: Brix, Assay, CO2, Net Contents, pH and Taste & Odor
* Perform package attribute testing to include: Closure Removal Torques, Can Lid Application (Where Applicable), and Visual Appearance
* Perform finished product attributes such as: Correct Bottle/Can, Correct Closure/Lid, Correct Label, Correct Production Date Code to include final packaging (Cases, Cartons, Trays, Wraps, etc.) and verification of any Promotional Identification
* Perform Micro sample collection and testing (Note: A designated technician may be selected for Micro testing, in some cases, removing this responsibility from the remaining technicians)
* Perform Syrup testing such as Brix, Assay, pH to include the use of an ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) or a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) unit. (Note: Blending Technicians may be selected for Syrup testing, in some cases, removing this responsibility from Lab Technicians)
* Perform lab equipment calibrations and/or verifications as needed. Lab equipment maintenance and problem troubleshoot is required as needed
* Perform water treatment duties as described by the Quality Manager where applicable
* Perform Internal Clean in Place (CIP) setup as described by the Quality Manager where applicable
* Participate in the Sensory Program where applicable
* Data entry from product testing is required in Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) to include review of test results and reaction should an out of specification situation arise. Knowledge of the Product Hold program (when to use and when not to use) is a must. Assist in writing standard operating procedures (SOP's) as needed to include the use of Master Control
* Perform daily lab housekeeping to include good manufacturing practices (GMP) inside and outside the lab where needed
* Maintain lab testing equipment supplies to include ordering and inventory control
* Responsible for receiving and testing ingredients where applicable
* Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

Follow 5 piece inspection procedures on all new startups with other Team Members involved
Complete all production related documents in a timely manner
Perform periodic quality inspections on all molding presses throughout the shift
Inspect all parts based on Mobis quality criteria
Immediately report any conditions that will cause safety, quality, or production related issues
Observe all safety rules and policies at all times, including properly wearing correct personal protective equipment
Maintain and improve housekeeping in assigned areas (purging, scrap parts, material spills, etc.)
Assist in training of new Team Members

Position Summary:
To effectively perform all the required duties of the Quality AssuranceTechnician in an accurate, thorough and safe manner. Perform audits that consist of pre-operational/operational in oun facility. Processing areas as prescribed by A policy and procedures, and maintain proper documentation, in order to assure adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform audits (pre-operational / operational) in the facility ensuring that all @uality/HACCP/SQF/SSOP requirements are being met
complete all required paperwork, documenting all findings and corrective actions implemented
Inspect and verify Critical Control Points (CCP'S) in the manufacturing facility.
Monitor GMP's in production areas.
Collect samples for lab analyses to assure that product meets specifications.
Perform routine data entry in computer, with minimum errors.
In the event a deficiency is discovered/product failure, he/she will report the events) to the QA Manager and appropriate department supervisor/manager
Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary manner.
Possess knowledge of and familiarity with the job responsibilities and requirements of all direct reports to include Line Packers. Team Leaders and Packaging Material Handlers.
Perform inspections of Hold items for proper disposition.
Provide assistance to Operations in times of staffing challenges, possibly working on the production line.
Provide guidance to line associates for best quality.

Overview
The Quality Control Specialist I contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring products and services meet customers' expectations, regulatory requirements, project specifications, and the quality control program, The individual is expected to continuous improvement in safety outcomes, operational efficiency and team effectiveness.
Responsibilities
QC Documentation: The individual will input, maintain and track deficiencies within the QC software system.
Site QC Audits: The individual will assist more senior technicians in troubleshooting problems and providing solutions of problems. They will be responsible for visual inspection to ensure the installed product meets project requirements, company standards and local codes.
QC Project Reporting: Project reporting involves documenting and communicating the progress, findings and outcomes of quality control activities within the project.

**Essential Functions**
+ Traveling to field sites around Alabama
+ Assist w/ native bee field work including setting up insect traps & sweep netting
+ Processing insect specimens for pinning

United Trades of America is currently hiring a QA/QC Technician for a high-profile data center construction project in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a critical role focused on ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across all phases of construction. If you are detail-oriented and experienced in quality assurance/control for industrial or commercial builds, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and testing of mechanical, electrical, or structural systems according to project specifications
Monitor installation practices and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC documentation, reports, and logs
Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve deficiencies
Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs, and applicable codes
Document and report non-conformance issues and confirm resolution through corrective actions
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in commercial or industrial construction
Experience with data centers or mission-critical projects is highly preferred
Strong working knowledge of ITPs, submittals, RFIs, and construction documents
Familiarity with construction codes, specifications, and jobsite safety requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office and QA/QC tracking tools
Excellent communication and documentation skills
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

Job Purpose
To follow up day to day quality in the Montgomery facility, ensure correct measurement and disqualification criteria, make sure the product meets quality expectation and initiate quality improvement
Duties and Responsibilities
Daily check the information in OSP from ATL, Water test and FKM from previous day
Review all records and check if all was done according to the procedures, using correct frequency and specification and if incidents were solved proper way. Review with ATL, WT or FKM operator any possible error or doubts
Daily visual inspection of the product on each machine in any shift.
Review material in hold, low quality records and together with Quality manager take decision Ensuring proper product packaging
If needed, organize inspection of casing with quality issue.
Responsibility of finalizing claims and analysis in timely manner
Organizing their schedule and ensure all utilities needed for their work
Responsible for Quality devices in his/her area
Communicating with Production and Extrusion Quality and solving quality problems together with them
Analyzing Quality data, tendencies
Weekly and Monthly Reports required by Quality Manager.
Cover vacation for any other Quality Technician.
Back up of Quality Manager in his absence.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required, in some engineering fields, such as industrial engineering, chemical engineering, etc.
Experience
2 years of experience in Quality areas, with knowledge of quality inspection and quality rejections.
Skills
Basic management in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of lab equipment and methods, basic knowledge of ISO system
Languages: Bilingual (English and Spanish) required (oral and written fluency).

Within the production facility the environment is controlled. There are times that require inside and outside working so ups and downs in temperature are normal. Must follow all safety regulations at all facilities and wear all proper safety equipment. Steel toe shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, and goggles are required in certain areas of the plant. The facility is also a BRC food packaging facility so all requirement of the BRC must be followed
Physical Requirements
Must be able to spend a considerable amount of time working on the production floor among a variety of different machines/chemical and physical laboratory. Work on feet for long periods of time. Some lifting required. Must be aware of your surroundings at all times. Must be willing to work in wet environments doing testing when necessary

Salary Information
Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

Nature of Work The fundamental reason this classification exists is to perform technical engineering work, including inspecting new developments and public works projects. The work responsibilities include reviewing site plans, conducting on-site inspections, communicating with consultants and design engineers, assisting citizens with city-related concerns, and coordinating with utility companies and State agencies. The employee will report directly to a higher-level Engineering Technician, Civil Engineer, or Professional Engineer. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or a GED and three (3) years of technical engineering experience in the area of traffic, public works, planning, and/or transportation.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training, and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job will be considered. Kind of Examination Applications are being accepted to fill one (1) vacancy and any other vacancies that may occur during the life of the register.
