Position Summary
This is an on-site position in North Kingstown, RI.

Provide quality service to our customer's by the internal auditing of their mail kit product to ensure that the highest production and quality is achieved according to established standards and procedures.
Key Areas of Responsibility
General understanding of client's completed mail kit product: Job sheet reading/ filling, ISO/ CQM requirements, Process understanding, Control plan interpretation. Understanding of calibration and verification concepts. Understanding of AQL, military standard concept and use. Understanding and application of Non conformity process. Fully understands and follows established QA procedures while performing the internal QA audit function.
Must be proficient in QA procedures.
Audits jobs from Data Card, Hand Fulfillment and Auto Inserting departments.
Understanding of Company's JAAMS system for department's audit input procedures. Hands-on knowledge and usage of job tracking system.
Generate non-conformance report to management.
Provide feedback to QA manager of any excessive errors discovered during the auditing process.
Provide support to production floor on inspection/ segregation of non-conforming product.
Validate new products/ portfolios.
Maintain a positive attitude and understanding toward fellow co-workers
Must be flexible with working nights and weekends as this may be required for major projects. Ensure conformance to vision, mission and values of the company.
Must be detail oriented and highly focused to meet the customer's expectations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
Must have 1 - 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing and/or production environment.

Position: Quality Control Technician / Inspector (2nd Shift)
Summary:
This position is responsible for inspecting and documenting incoming material and finished parts, and performing detailed 1st piece inspections as well as final inspections. It requires good working knowledge of standard measurement tools such as micrometer, calipers, height gages, and optical comparator. The position also requires completing documentation, use of our CMM system to verify parts and familiarity with blueprint reading related to highly-engineered parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Perform first piece inspection, in process and final inspection; Perform receiving inspection, validate quality of purchased and manufactured materials, parts and components as per set acceptance criteria, determining conformance to prints and specifications.
Provide assistance in the performance of any other quality functions as defined in the Quality Manual, such as gauge calibration, inventory, and nonconforming parts assessment.

Perform quality control assessments of prepared calamari products against specifications, such as appearance, aroma, texture, taste, count per pound, net weight, glaze percent, size, and defects
Upload photographs of prepared calamari samples, enter all quality data to assigned computer location, and report results to assigned individuals the same day as the evaluation
Check in-line samples and rework against specifications and report status to Operations immediately
Fulfill sales samples requests by picking orders, packing them appropriately for the product and outside temperature, and arranging shipping and pick-up as needed
Clean and sanitize work stations to standard regularly
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Summary:
This position is responsible for inspecting and documenting incoming material and finished parts, and performing detailed 1st piece inspections as well as final inspections. It requires good working knowledge of standard measurement tools such as micrometer, calipers, height gages, and optical comparator.
