Conduct functional testing to verify that parts meet performance requirements. Identify defects or deviations from product specifications and document findings accurately. Record inspection results, track non-conformities, and maintain detailed reports for compliance and traceability. Communicate quality issues to production staff and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of inspection procedures and work instructions. Work closely with the production team to resolve quality concerns, improve processes, and maintain high levels of product consistency. Perform audits on raw materials and finished products to ensure consistency in quality across all production stages. Support internal and external audits as required. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements to improve product quality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Quality Control or Engineering is a plus. Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of automotive interior parts and components. Proficiency with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, TS16949, or similar. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects or deviations. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints. Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement techniques. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a team-oriented approach. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods.
