Partner with Senior team member during the Execution & Industrialization of any NPI and Existing hardware that will be introduced into Production. Learn & familiarize the Routing system to be able to create Hardware Routers as well as update existing routers for manufacturing purposes. Review engineering drawings/concepts to determine what manufacturing processes are needed to produce quality hardware. Ability to influence others and lead those team members that are not working at the LPB1 level. Able to comfortably lead and work with cross-functional teams to manufacture hardware and communicate effectively with business leadership. Actively participate Lean, PPR events as required to include any other process review with your hardware. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach, and presents outcomes of research done. Detailed understanding of Lean processes to resolve part and manufacturing constraints. Product line owner for manufacturing/repairing of hardware Creation of DR's (Discrepancy Reports) and work with Engineering to Drive Closure on DR's Dispositioning of Hardware for Manufacturing per ESM & other approved documentation The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing engineer with 3+ years in regulated, high-mix aerospace production, who has proven success industrializing new products, improving OEE, and eliminating defects through data-driven problem solving and kaizen. They collaborate across Operations, Quality, Design, and Sourcing, mentor technicians and engineers, and reliably deliver SQDC outcomes by mastering process control, equipment qualification, and compliance (AS9100/NADCAP). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace, Materials, or related) or HSD/GED with 5 years of applicable experience 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment Proven experience with process development, equipment specification/validation, and production troubleshooting. Working knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA/Control Plans, SPC, and root cause/corrective action. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aerospace or other regulated industry; familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and special processes (e.g., machining, coatings, heat treat, composites, additive, assembly/test). Hands-on experience with automation/robotics, PLCs, sensors/vision systems, and MES/PLM/ERP (e.g., Solumina, Teamcenter, SAP). Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to influence across functions and at all levels.
