QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience) High school diploma or GED required; degree in food science or related field preferred. Experience in food safety or quality roles in meat/food manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety regulations. Detail-oriented with strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills. Able to work in cold, fast-paced, and regulated environments; bilingual skills a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee will be working in a climate-controlled environment of -40ºF to -45ºF. The employee may be exposed to strong odors such as raw meat and marinades from seasoned meat. While in the production area, the employee is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include hair and beard nets, rubber soled shoes, smocks, hearing protection and hard hats.

Using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, go/no-go gauges, and thread gauges. Recording inspection results and managing inventory transactions in SAP. Supporting calibration activities by entering and tracking calibration data, preparing equipment for shipment, and auditing calibration tools. Assisting with discrepant material management by documenting and coordinating DMR/MRB actions. Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure adherence to ABB's quality management systems. Providing guidance to less experienced staff and participating in team-based quality initiatives. Qualifications for the role High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality inspection processes, instruments, and documentation. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and product specifications. Basic proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
