Our Production team makes large steel casting belts from steel sheets and coil stock using large automatic and semi-automatic machinery. These casting belts weigh between 70 and 350 pounds and involve teamwork in order to manipulate them on and off the equipment.
What you will do:
Manufacturing these metal belts requires shearing, welding (GTAW), grinding welds, washing, grit blasting and coating with specialized thermal spray equipment, this team is also responsible for the boxing and crating of the belts which involves cutting, nailing and stapling of stick lumber and OSB sheathing. We are willing to train the right candidate.
We are looking for a Production Technician 2nd shift (Belt Shop) to join our team working 4-night weeks, Monday - Thursday on second shift, 4:00pm-2:00am.

The Position : We're looking for a Liquids Production Technician to work in our Colchester facility. The hours for this position are Monday thru Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm. The Liquids Production Technician will assist in the manufacturing and packing of our liquids products and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. while bending, twisting and/or squatting.
Proper sanitation of the facility and equipment.
Fill out all applicable documentation.
Train and operate any equipment necessary for the day to day needs of the facility.
Learn the products and processes associated with them.
Complete work assignments in a timely manner with minimum rework.
Take steps to minimize waste.
Identify process improvements to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
Adhere to all SOPs and cGMP guidelines associated with these and other duties.

Our QC Inspector position performs inspections or testing to ensure conformity with the type design engineering data. They document their results, identify defects and report when instances of poor quality items increase. Quality Control Inspectors safely discard or destroy items that don't meet the necessary specifications to prevent unsatisfactory inventory from reaching production. You'll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards. The ideal candidate has keen attention to detail, and is proficient in using precision dimensional inspection equipment including, but not limited to, calipers and micrometers.
Provide a high level summary of your team's position.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
Perform Quality Control inspections & testing per inspection work instructions in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
Retrieval and interpretation of technical documents
Interpret technical documents and develop inspection work instructions
Perform First Article Inspections per AS9102.
Complete required documentation and enter into ERP system, create inspection reports as needed
Communicate technical requirements to shop personnel
Assign traceability to incoming raw material, quarantine, and scrap components
Prioritize workflow
Maintain measuring equipment
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform tasks as needed per individual jobs

Minimum Qualifications we are seeking (your Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities):
High School graduate or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Engineering drawings
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations
Working knowledge of GD&T
Experience performing dimensional inspections using standard precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gage blocks
Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and/or web based software.
Attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently, but function as a team player
Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you (preferred qualifications):
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5
Two or four year degree in Mechanical Engineering
Working knowledge of CAD software including Catia, or Onshape.
Two or more years of experience in Quality Control in Aerospace
Certification from American Society for Quality (ASQ)
Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma
Experience in at least one form of non-destructive inspections such as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as AS9100
Knowledge of FAA regulations and Aerospace conformity requirements
Experienced interfacing with Business Enterprise Systems such as Plex.
Experience with Inspection software such as InspectionXpert, NetInspect, or equivalent reporting software
Experience working with a manufacturing team to develop new processes.
