Position Requirements 4+ years QA, development or performance engineering experience 2+ years scripting / automation experience. Java experience preferred 2+ years hands-on UNIX / Linux experience for Application Server infrastructures. Analyzes and resolves companies product customers technical and clinical questions regarding products. Corresponds with customers regarding the results of inquiries and analysis of products Uses discretion in escalating unusual product performance issues, collaborates with engineering, resolves customer complaints. Participates in product improvement teams, field failure analysis and other analytical teams responsible for the improvement of products and regulatory issues. This position requires a very high degree of technical competence and communicative ability in order to receive, evaluate, investigate and respond to customers' questions and complaints. · Interfaces with all levels of health care professionals ( doctors, nurses, biomedical technicians and purchasing agents, materials managers and risk managers) to document, investigate, and correct field-related problems. · Communicates customer concerns and complaints to individuals who manage databases and analyze data to identify trends, needs for product and service enhancements and communicate the findings with relevant individuals such as R & D engineers, business unit managers, and other personnel to communicate the findings. · Performs product complaint documentation, investigation, customer response, and consulting activities on products and authors correspondence to customers addressing complaint investigations. · Serves as a liaison between other business units for quality and technical concerns as needed. Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Qualifications A bachelor's degree is required and 5-7 years of customer support experience preferred. Strong PC/Data Entry Skills required. A high degree of interpersonal relations skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. PROBLEM SOLVING: Must be able to work under pressure and stress common to office environments. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and analytical thinking. Must be able to deal effectively with problems and customers on the telephone.

Nice to haves (in descending order): experience in Inspection in a biotech or pharma business, other quality assurance experience in biotech or pharma, manufacturing experience in biotech/pharma Responsible for visual inspection of bottled products, components & kits, making sure the vials have correct volume, proper label description, material number, batch number and storage temperature. Review packaging batch records to ensure the correct Technical Data Sheet and any applicable inserts are attached. Review dilution, bottling & packaging processes to ensure all finished products meet specifications prior to releasing products to Finished Goods Inventory or Inventory Control for bottled components. File QA retention samples in QA Retention Sample inventory. The QA Inspector I will also be responsible for supporting external customers as well as the following internal customers: Operations, Packaging, Production Planning, Quality, and Inventory Control. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. QA inspection of bottled products and kits/sets. 2. SAP Data Entry. 3. Review and verification of completion of batch records and release products to Finished Goods Inventory. 4. Review and verification of raw material supplier documentation and release to inventory. 5. Assist in pulling and maintaining QA retains. 6. Perform temperature monitoring of QA Freezers. 7. Perform other related duties and assignments as required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS •Detailed-Oriented, can deal with ambiguity, team player & must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. Fast learner and must have excellent communication skills. •Computer skills required, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and the use of email. SAP knowledge preferred. •Requires organizational skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. •Must be able to lift 35 pounds. •Must be able to work in different temperature environments such as room temperature, 4C, -20C and -80C. •Local travel is required for inspection of products at different Client Biosciences - San Diego facilities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent. AS degree or college level science courses helpful. General office, computer data entry, zero to three years QA inspection experience.
